There's Still Some Fun in the Sun Left...

We were recently interviewed for a magazine beauty article on our favorite beach beauty tips for skin, hair and fragrance. Since we still have a few more weeks of summer left, we wanted to share them with you!

Sun Screen -- once applied during a day outside in the sun, you cannot just forget it. If you are going to be outside for an extended period of time, you have to reapply every 2-4 hours – even if you are not swimming, to keep up the UVA/UVB sunscreen benefits.

Product pick: Neutrogena Sunblock, Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 55

--Tip: If you are going to be drinking alcohol outside during the summer, you will also need to reapply sunscreen more frequently; the alcohol causes a breakdown in the immune system.

Hair Protection -- Apply a thick UV hair mask before going out to the beach or pool to swim and slick back or put in a low ponytail. If you have more oily hair just apply to the ends only. Afterwards always rinse the hair out with water and then shampoo/condition.

Product Pick: Kerastase UV Defense Active Protection Mask

Fragrance -- Use scents which are citrus or ozonic based and only apply to the lower body (back of knees and wrists during the day). The scent will rise with the increase in your body temperature during the day.

Product Pick: Bvlgari Eau Parfumee Green Tea 1.33 oz Eau de Toilette Spray
