Impluse Buy of the Week - Juicy Loves Sephora Pavé Lip Gloss Heart Ring

Yes, we know lip gloss rings have been done before, but we simply fell in love the new Juicy Loves Sephora Pavé Lip Gloss Heart Ring, from the Juicy Loves Sephora line. This cute heart shaped lip gloss ring had us just oohing and ahhing when we tried it on. The pink pave diamond effect is really sparkly and fun.

Even if you are not a die hard Juicy Couture fan (but we think they have a little something for the girly girl in all of us in their collection), this is a great gift for a teen, costume jewelry and, of course, lip gloss lover.

The heart opens at the top to reveal the lipgloss and snaps back in place easily and securely.

The lip gloss is also quite moisturizing, and although a pale shimmery pink that will work best with skin tones up to a Jada Pinkett shade to wear alone, it will also work to add some extra sparkle to a midtone nude color of lipstick or gloss for darker skintones.

Carol's Daughter Holiday Beauty + Pearls Fragrance Launch

We recently attended a very intimate breakfast beauty event with the lovely, talented Lisa Price, creator of the Carol's Daughter line of products.

Lisa previewed the Holiday 2008 collection of Carol's Daughter gift sets, including, left, Recipe For Gorgeous Hair Tui, pictured left, which includes:

We were also treated to a preview of Carol's Daughter's first fine fragrance, Carol's Daughter Pearls, which Lisa said was inspired by candied violets her husband gave her.

The scent is light, sweet and fresh with top notes of lemon, anise and peach, middle notes of violet leaves, jasmine and rose and a very unique caramel finish that we loved! The bottle is topped with a large pretty pearl that is just so perfectly feminine this will be a sure winner as a gift for the fragrance lover in your life.

A Kiss For Country to End Domestic Violence

Mary Kay Inc., the Official Beauty Sponsor of the 42nd Annual CMA Awards, in partnership with the Country Music Association has launched the second annual A Kiss for Country(sm) campaign to raise awareness and help end domestic violence. Country Music artists nationwide lent their lips to the cause by providing their Kiss Prints and autographs to be auctioned off to benefit domestic violence prevention. More than 60 Country Music legends and emerging artists participated, including Jewel, Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire, Kellie Pickler, LeAnn Rimes, George Strait, John Rich, Martina McBride, Sara Evans, Jennifer Hanson, Naomi Judd, Miranda Lambert, Rodney Atkins, Emerson Drive, Wynonna and many more.

A number of celebrities lent their lips to the noble cause, as well, with kisses from Rachael Ray, America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams and Laila Ali! As part of its $3 million commitment, the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation will provide a grant in the name of each participating artist to pre-determined domestic violence prevention shelters around the country in 2009.

"This is a little bottle that packs a powerful punch! I was simply amazed with how this booster really made a difference in my normally dry skin.

After my first few days using the clear, light serum before my regluar moisturizer my skin never looked and felt so soft and smooth. I only needed to use about 3-4 drops each time.
