Beauty Find: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

This Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish was at the top of my list recently to try, as I'd heard great things about the Liz Earle line and this product in particular.

As all of you know, skin is the foundation for all the
lovely cosmetics and other skin treatments we love apply over it. Done properly, and with a great cleanser, cleansing is the step that will not only get rid of makeup/dirt/grime but also increase circulation and hydration, improve skin tone and clarity and treat problems like acne, rosacea and hyper pigmentation.

The Liz Earle Cleanse is very different in texture from most cleansers. It has the look and feel of a
thick, buttery cream but was very easy to spread over my face. It has a herbal/eucalyptus scent which is noticeable but not cloying. I found that with a few swipes it took away all of my makeup when I used it in the evening, and moisturized my drier areas as well. As per the Liz Earle cleansing instructions, I then filled my sink with medium/hot water, rinsed the included muslin cloth in hand-hot water, wrung it out then used the muslin cloth to wipe off the cream using a clean section for each part of my face. I then rinsed with cool water.

I was very impressed that the drier areas of my face were very smooth and moisturized, while the more oily areas were not irritated yet were very clean. I used the cleansing system daily for several weeks and was very happy with the tone and clarity in my skin, and how fresh and bright it looked even before I began putting on concealer/foundation, etc. The muslin cloth provided a great exfoliation which was effective, yet gentle, at the same time.

I loved the whole experience of cleansing my face with this product. This, I have to say, is quite simply an amazing cleanser and the perfect cleansing system for drier skins, sensitive skins and dry/combination.

There are some other really great Liz Earl skincare products that are included in a nicely designed bag, along with the travel sized version of the Cleanse and Polish in Liz Earl's Overnight Travel Beauty Kit.
