Impulse Buy of the Week - Marc Jacobs Lola Perfume If you are looking for the essence of "Flirty" and "Fun" in a fragrance, then look no further than Marc Jacobs' Lola.

I LOVE the bottle shape and design, (but I realize that this is another one of those LOVE or HATE perfume bottles). I think it really captures what the fragrance is all about, and is very unique. So if you love fragrance bottles, this is one that you will love displaying on your dresser.

Lola is a sweet, floral fragrance, and as such, it will only appeal to those of you who generally like this/are looking for this. That said, the sweet notes, like the pear, were very prominent, but not overwhelming on me. I also liked the bits of citrus from the pink grapefruit that I picked up, combined with the sweeter notes. The pink peppercorn gave it a nice "kick", as well as a nice balance between the fruity and the floral notes. Soon the florals, from the peony and geranium, in particular, began to take shape on my skin, and this is what made it fun for me.

The dry down was especially plesant, with a very nice "creamy" feel. I got some vanilla, musk and spice, which lasted well into the night on me. I think this is perfect for a date night, night out on the town, day of shopping on a tropical holiday vacation - it's really very versatile for the right girl! - RLB

Fragrance Notes:
Top notes: pink peppercorn, ruby red grapefruit, pear d’anjou
Middle notes: fuchsia peony, rose, geranium
Bottom notes: vanilla, tonka bean, creamy musk
