Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara

For those of you who follow this blog, you know that I LOVE mascara - and I've tried many. I know now, after many years of using and reviewing mascaras, that very few mascaras can be everything to everyone. A lot of the success of a product depends on what type of lashes you were born with and what you are looking to achieve with the mascara.

I attended a Clarins event several months ago and was provided with one of the latest mascara products, Wonder Perfect Mascara. The formula promises to give volume, length, long wear and curl. This is the "holy trinity" of mascara wishes for most women.

I was completely impress with this mascara because I really feel it delivers on all three promises - I got incredible additional length (my natural lashes are med/long), a significant increase in volume (my lashes are fine/med) and some additional curl as well (my lashes are naturally slightly curled). It's a drier formula which really grabs on to each and every lash, with perfect separation and no clumping.

There was no flaking, running or smudging even after an 8+ hour day. This mascara made my lashes look simply stunning. As a matter of fact, on days when I wanted a more low key look I just applied a few coats of the Wonder Prefect along with a rosy/nude lip color and a quick line of liquid eyeliner and I had a very polished and pretty look! When I paired 2-3 coats with a full smokey eye/eyeliner/eyeshadow combo, as I did recently, I got amazing compliments and it was a full glam goddess effect! - RLB
