At Marc Jacobs F/W 2010 New York runway show, his models debuted various shades of "Greige" nails, created by CND's Roxanne Valinoti (with Elisa Ferri) .
Greige is a new growing color trend in the nail shades, which is a combination of grey and beige, and can have creamy brown, lavender, pink or even white undertones.
I love all the variations on this look. Greige is here to stay because there are so many possibilities with this soft color. The darker, more brown/lavender shades work well as a updated take on a neutral for deeper, brown skin tones, and the lighter, creamier, pinker shades are perfect for those with lighter skin tones.
My friends at CND (Creative Nail Design) have shared with me how to get each one of these custom looks from the show using CND nail shades. My two personal favorites are Look 1, (shown above), and Look 3.
