6am I wake up at 5am every morning on a normal day. I have started working out with a personal trainer. I don’t eat breakfast before hand and I alternate working out with two different trainers. This morning it was Brandon, who is an upper body specialist which was great. I am still super sore in my lower body workout from Monday (I can hardly sit down I am so sore!). Drive home and shower and hurry up to get to the office by 7:30 to start my day. Coffee and a Powerbar for breakfast followed by a fresh coat of lipstick.

9am Conference call with Anne in Geneva to discuss status of our new product launch. Anne is involved in the conception and formulation of our products, and she works closely with our laboratories and manufacturer in Switzerland. I am really excited about our the new products we have coming up! Have another coffee using our Nespresso machine.

11am - Meeting in our Alchimie Forever D.C. showroom with Brooke who is the new spa manager for Somafit, a wonderful DC spa. The focus of the meeting was to strategize how to develop our partnership. After our meeting, as a special treat, I had one of our premiere estheticians give Brooke a facial. Our facialist is incredible. Her name is Christine Will and she is visiting from our spa in Geneva, the Forever Laser Institut. Christine gave Brooke an Alchimie Forever signature facial so she could experience our products and treatments.

1pm Lunch with Kassie Rempel from Simply Soles at Peacock Café in Georgetown to discuss potential events we can work together on, catch up, and talk about being a small business owner. We have been friends for years and always bounce ideas off each other. I had a steak salad (my favorite there) and a Diet Coke, and sadly no bread because my trainer has me on a tight regimen.

3pm Call with our QVC coordinator Nadia to discuss Alchimie Forever’s next upcoming QVC appearance. Decide to go ahead with May 15th at 3 am, which requires emergency calls to change international travel arrangements asap!! One more coffee.

5pm Cocktails with Betsy Lowther of Fashion Washington at Chadwicks, we have white wine (they have an amazing $2 happy hour) and spinach artichoke dip. We talk about vintage versus new fashion (I am a fan of new and she is very much a fan of vintage). We each have two glasses of wine and I leave in a wonderful mood.

7pm Dinner with board of Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NEW) an organization I founded for local DC area female entrepreneurs. We alternate who hosts each quarter and it was at Treat Boutique. It is a super energizing and inspiring group of women and we planned some great events for summer and fall.

10pm Back home catching up on emails and packing for my very early fight to LA the next day to meet with clients, potentials clients and press contacts. My evening beauty routine involves making sure I wash my face every night, no exceptions. I use our Alchimie Forever Excimer cleanser, Kantic night cream, Superpulse eye cream (my secret weapon to fight the dark circles that come with the little sleep I exist on), and I settle in with a cup of Tazo Tea in ginger spice. I love ginger everything, as do most women in my family. Goodnight!
