I absolutely adore Mara Hoffman's designs, especially her swim looks. Her prints never cease to amaze me, and the cuts of the clothes are always unique and sexy and move with the body so well.
This year during Hoffman's 2010 Swim runway show in Miami, Make Up For Ever Alliance artist, Lottie, created some really interesting, colorful looks inspired by Hoffman’s mystical journey through the jungle, visiting crystal caves, rivers, oceans; with her own version of an "Amazonian tribeswoman in a bikini" following her White Horse spirit guide.
Lottie created a look that combined a futuristic look with a tribal look, accented with fuchsia and turquoise that put the focus on the eyes.
Although you may not actually go out and replicate this look for your every day life, I do find something really beautiful, fun and creative about it. I could see wearing eye liner only on the bottom lash line with full lashes, bronzy smoky eyes with a touch of fuchsia or cool white tribal print effects on turquoise or fuchsia nails.

Complexion & Cheeks: The skin was bronzed and dewy with highlights on the brow bone and high cheek. Aqua Cream #7 in Fuchsia was applied lightly to the cheeks and blended heavily so only a slight pink flush remained.
Eyes: To create this tribal chic make up look, Lottie applied Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream #4 in white to the entire lid, up to the brow bone, blending it out. The eyes were defined using Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes #0L in black on the bottom lash line only, and then Make Up For Ever Aqua Smoky Lash on both the top and bottom.
Using a lip brush for added precision, Lottie drew small white dots at the top of the cheek bones starting from the outer corner of the eyes and over the blower bridge of the nose, following the natural shape of the eyes.
Lips: Lottie applied Lipstick #502, a matte nude lipstick, to keep the focus on the eyes.
