Super Cute! tarte Ten Year Collection

For the first Super Cute! pick of the 2010 fall season, I can't think of anything more fitting than the new tarte TEN collection, in honor of their 10th anniversary.

As with all of the tarte cheek stains,Tarte TEN Cheek Stain is creamy and lightweight. It actually feels slightly more creamy (and less gel-like) than many of the others in their line. I also loved how pigmented is was.

Although in the tube the stain looks like a medium baby pink, with just a few swipes the pretty pink show up on light, medium and very dark brown skins alike. The pink is healthy-looking, and perfectly neutral - not too cool or warm. The finish is dewy with a lovely sheen (not shimmer). It has a fun fruity scent which dissapates pretty quickly. Tarte cheeks stains have such a great following among beauty fans because they are so easy to use. I love using it straight from the tube, but you can also use them with a makeup sponge or by applying the product on your fingertips and then blending onto the apples of the cheeks.

If using as a lip shade, this is for more lightly pigmented lips, or you could combine it with a deeper pink for those of you with darker lips/complexions. It's actually moisturizing and has great staying power on the lips as well. As far as the cheeks, like all their lips stains, this lovely 10 stays on all day with no melting, streaking or fading.

Of course, this is a also Super Cute pick because of the great packaging! The round, golden studs (which are raised)on the pretty deep purple casing felt like beautiful jewerly on both the stain tube and the Tarte TEN Limited Edition Collector's Palette case. It's glam, girly and a great idea for the brand.

The fact that the stains also contain natural ingredients and are formulated without much of the bad stuff - like parabens, phthalates, sythetic dyes/fragrance is another plus!

And speaking of the Tarte TEN Limited Edition Collector's Palette, this is not only a great deal, but you really can use this day in and day out.
The eye shadow shades are pretty, jewel toned, and work very well together and on their own. This is an assortment that any woman can use. The texture of the shadows are smooth and creamy with beautiful pigment. They are very easy to blend, and use on top of eyeliners for smoky looks. In addition to the 10 limited edition shadows, there's also a limited edition double - ended eyeliner in black/deep plum and a full sized eyeshadow brush which are included inside - amazing! - RLB, Inc.
