While the wintry season may conjure up images of frosty beauty looks like sparkly silvers and smoky charcoal shades, I'm all about heating things up with complexion-warming copper hues! Similar to bronze but slightly warmer, copper lets you achieve that healthy-looking glow and bring out your face's warmer undertones without looking unseasonably bronzed-out. While it looks best on girls with green or hazel peepers (it really brings out the golden flecks in your eyes!), the color is practically universally-flattering in its ability to brighten skin tone in a way that's more winter-friendly than your traditional gold and bronze shades!
Sweep on some subtle copper shadow like Lancome Color Design Eyeshadow in Precious Copper in place of your more ho-hum go-to neutrals, or add depth with multiple copper hues with the help of Maybelline Eye Studio Plush Silk Eyeshadow Palette in Copper Chic. For a bolder, more concentrated metallic look, opt for a shadow pencil like NARS Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in Skorpios, which can also double as a liner, or swap out your normal brown liner for a gel-based copper shade like Napoleon Perdis China Doll Eyeliner in Copper!
