Drugstore Buy of the Week - Olay Total Effects Body Wash- Deep Penetrating Moisture

drugstore.com For those of you who are die hard fans of the Olay Total Effects line of skin care, this is a fantastic addition to the line-Olay Total Effects Body Wash, Deep Penetrating Moisture.

However, even if you've never used a Olay Total Effects product before, if you are looking for a extremely moisturizing body wash that also helps your body skin look it's youngest - all at a drugstore-friendly price, then this is also the product for you.

I was absolutely wowed by how silky and creamy the body wash felt on my body, the lovely soft lather, the fantastic cleansing effects and the moisture it left behind. This body wash is scented, and for me it was one of the highlights - it's a slightly spicy rich floral. Within the cream, there are also tiny exfoliation beads, which also do a nice job of buffing the body, so my skin also had a nice glow as well after using on a regular basis.

After rinsing off the body wash, I could tell that there was some product left behind (hence the Total Effects 7 benefits for body skin which include: brightening dull skin, evening skin tone, smoothing rough skin and minimizing the appearance of dry lines), but it didn't feel overly greasy, heavy or chalky on my skin. My skin was just soft and smooth with no trace of dryness or tighness.

This is perfect when you are rushing in the morning and don't have a lot more time to add body lotion, or your skin is more in the normal/slightly dry range in which case you wouldn't need to add anything else. For those of you with very dry skin, this will work well for you, and you may need to just add a little additional moisture to target areas like feet, heels, elbows and lower legs in cold winter months, for instance. - RLB

F/W 2010 Milan Fashion Week Beauty Report - Bluemarine

Beauty.com After covering beauty for NY Fashion Week, I always love seeing what the European Fashion Week desingers have to offer - and of course the beauty looks.

One of hottest, boldest and sexiest collections from Milan F/W 2010 Fashion week for me so far, has been Bluemarine.

The beauty looks are full on “Foxy ladies” - which is how Charlotte Tilbury, lead makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics, described the inspriation behind the looks.

I love the eye makeup - the combination of the brown and black smokey- yet-very defined eye was absolutely perfect for this "not for the shy", sexy fashion collection!

Charlotte took her lead from the essence of the Bluemarie collection - which was full of animal prints, which were unabashedly mixed and matched, along with fringe, fringe, fringe on the jackets, blouses, bags and bangles, and lots of embellishments like gemstones and glitter.

To get the looks, Charlotte used MAC’sFeline black and brown kohl eye pencils, layered on the inside of the eye along with Black Track gel eyeliner. Next Tilbury smudged coffee colored pencil under the eyes and added several coats of black mascara as well individual lashes for a rock ’n’ roll edge.

For the rest of the MAC face and lip products used, as well as how hairstylist Eugene Souleiman created the "Glam meets grunge" hair looks and more beauty photos from the show, visit WWD. - RLB
