Would You Glimmer-ize Your 'Do With Hair Shimmer Products?

New York Fashion Week may be totally over by now (say it ain't so!), but we're still reeling over some of the event's most covetable (and kookiest!) beauty looks! After all, now that all the excitement of the shows themselves has come to a close, it's time to let all the style studying soak in so we can determine which big shadow trends are worth testing out on our own precious faces, which nail shades we need to pre-order before they're sold out until 2014, and of course, which hairstyles are actually worth making the cut for. It also begs the question -- will some of these wackier looks actually catch on as we try to translate them from the runway to real life?

For example,
Betsey Johnson's upscale line Black Tag featured black bobs with gilded spray-painted lace patterns. While the world may not be ready for patterned hair styles, is hair shimmer something that could potentially kick in? After all, it certainly exists, and in most cases it's subtle, offering just the right amount of light-reflective shimmer, but it just never seems to catch on quite as well as glitter eyeshadow, lipgloss, liner, and even nail polish. What say you -- would you consider sparkling your 'do if you had the right shimmer spray?
