If Kiehls was looking to create a "cult- like" following for a moisturizer that gives skin intense hydration, comfort and radiance - I think they're on their way to achieving their goal.
Rosa Arctica is a creamy, yet paste-like, cream that melts upon contact and instantly absorbs into the skin without feeling oily or heavy. The method of application is do apply a small amount of product into your hands to warm it up and melt it a bit before pressing/patting on to skin.
For drier skin, this can be used day or night, but since I lean toward combination skin, I loved using it as a night cream. It left my skin clear, soft and glowing in the morning. I also loved how It felt so soft, velvety and comforting as I applied it - heaven!
The cream is made from the Rosa Artica which is a rare resurrection flower hand-harvested at full bloom to ensure efficacy. This incredibly resilient flower is able to survive up to 31 months of extreme dehydration. When proper moisture conditions are restored, it returns to life within hours. It's this flower, along with Shea butter, vitamin E and essential fatty acids that give the cream such effectiveness at hydrating and soothing the skin.
This is best for combination, dry or very dry skin. If you're already a big Kiehls fan and have combination, dry or very dry skin this will be a winner for you. If you're new to the line, I encourage you to start with this amazing product! - RLB
