Let Your Natural Beauty Shine Through with Clear, Skin-Perfecting Makeup

If you had suggested the idea of clear foundation to me back in my college years, when I admittedly relied on my makeup to camouflage seriously troubled skin, I would have definitely scoffed at you. However, now that I'm an adult (by some standards) and have accepted the responsibility of taking regular care of my skin, I suppose the concept of going clear isn't quite so off the wall. Sure, I'm skeptical -- I still have my share of skin woes that I'd like covered up, of course -- but I do like the idea of not having to hide behind a mask of foundation or spend hours in the makeup aisle trying to find the right shade (and have it still not look quite right).

Opting for a clear foundation or translucent powder isn't the equivalent of going bare by any means -- these formulas still minimize the look of pores, imperfections, and mattify skin just like your favorite tinted makeup, but without the heavy or cakey look. If you're worried about an uneven skin tone, these products still work to create a smoother complexion, but instead do it colorlessly, ensuring that you're never left with unsightly streaks or poor blending!
