Drugstore Buy of the Week - Olay Tone Rehab Foundation

Olay Tone Rehab Foundation Review When two skin care products combine to create an even better new beauty product - it's magic.

When you this product in your local drugstore easily - for a great price...it's even better!

CoverGirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation combines a very natural finish foundation from Covergirl with Olay serum to hydrate skin, improve fine lines and the overall texture of skin.

The foundation is a perfect choice for those of you with drier or combination skin. The white swirls contained in the tube are the Olay serum formula which moisturizes and improves skin tone over time.

I only had to use about half a pump and got very good medium coverage. If you have more oily skin, you won't need to apply any moisturizer before hand, but I usually layeed a light primer underneath.
I loved the texture, which was a creamy mousse like texture and very lightweight once I applied it on my skin. I could immediately feel the drier parts of my face, like my cheeks, becoming more moisturized, almost like I had splashed some water on it. But what's amazing is howlightweight the foundation felt once I had blended it. It really felt like has absolutely nothing on.

The color match was good (I didn't think I was quite Soft Sable 175 looking at the tube, but it ended up working on my skin tone). It was easy to use both my fingers and a foundation brush for a polished look. When applying a bit more of the foundaiton with a brush, I found it eliminated the need for much conealer afterwards.

The finish is fresh and with a slight sheen, and never greasy or cakey. My skin looked really healthy and fresh for the entire time I tested it. With it's pump and perfectly shaped tube this is also easy to pack for travel. It didn't settle into my pores and the foundation stayed put all day into the night

What's unique about the formula is that it smells really nice. (It's a light, slightly citrus/floral scent that does linger a bit). I happen to like it and didn't find it overwhelming, but if you don't like/want fragrance in your foundation, unitl they create an unscented version, this may not be for you.

The price is on the higher end of drugstore foundations, but I think it's worth every penny, and since it's very concentrated, you'll have your tube for quite some time, even using it daily. - RLB
