Natural Beauty Find - Kure Bazaar Nail Polish, Urban 14

Here's a beautiful line of fashion forward AND toluene-and-formaldehyde-free, quick-drying nail polish that is made of 85% natural ingredients

Believe it or not, Kure Bazaar, a new French line of polishes, uses no petrochemicals and is made from wood pulp, wheat, cotton, potato and corn extracts. This unique blend helps ensure not only less harm to the environment and ourselves, but also helps to keep nails strong and healthy.

It allows for nails to "breath" under several coats of polish with a formula that is very light and creamy. I found It did not streak and did dry fairly quickly (under 5 minutes). With a top coat application I got about 6 days chip free.

There are many beautiful shades to choose from, but one of my favorites is the very soft and unique Urban 14 (shown, above). It's a bit of a pastel "creamsicle" tangerine shade with just a touch of iridescence to it. It's a nice change of pace from the usual pastel shades that look so great in spring/summer.

Because Kure Bazaar's founder, Kartika, is a former model, all the shades in the line are very on trend fashion wise - there's a collection of dreamy pastels inspired by Youshiki Hishinuma's Spring 2012 show in Paris and a line of 4 blue polishes with names such as Mon Bleu, Stone Wash and Hipster, inspired by a various jean wash effects. This is a brand meant to explore and feel great about using at the same time! - RLB
