During this hot and brutal summer, the less makeup steps you need to take to still look put together, the better - right?
Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream
has the SPF, the moisturizer and color for coverage as well. I loved the finish, which mattified my skin slightly, while still leaving it looking a bit luminescent. The shade Medium/Deep provided just a touch of color and blended into my skin tone perfectly (and I currently have a tan).
The texture is slightly mousse-like and creamy and it was easy to blend with either my fingers, a foundation brush or a makeup sponge. It's so easy to use, precision is not important, which makes it ideal for getting out of the door in the morning.
It also has a very nice, light, fresh sent which dissipates quickly. I also found that it was concentrated, so I generally used about a dime-sized worth of the BB Cream each day.
During the day I found that it kept the oilies down in my T-zone for the most part, while not drying out my drier areas, like my cheeks. It felt completely light-weight and looked natural on my skin. After using on a consistent basis, I found that It also didn't clog my pores.
As for coverage, while not intended for it, I did find that it could serve to somewhat diminish the appearance of light blemishes and discolorations. It even worked in the under eye area for a subtle concealer-like effect. Paired with a lightweight loose powder, this cream can take you through the day into the night looking fresh and fabulous year-round. - RLB
