Marchesa's debut scent, MARCHESA PARFUM D'EXTASE Eau de Parfum
The scent will be also a delight to many who prefer a "less sweet", yet still warm fragrance.
This is feminine floral with some woodsy/warm notes. It's chic and very sophisticated. D'Extase starts out with a strong, dry, fresh floral/citrus combination and got a bit drier and softer within a few minutes after applying.
As the day went on, the scent seemed to just round out with more floral notes, but never any powdery or fruity ones. I really liked this difference, especially for the upcoming cooler season.
The dry down is even more airy and soft and lasts a very long time. For example, If you wear this in the evening, you will still be wrapped the lovely scent well into the next morning. I believe this will be a new fragrance "classic" in years to come. - RLB

The bottle is so beautiful, the cap resembles the clasp on all their amazing clutches, and the perfume is a blend of florals (jasmine, orange blossom and rose). I just received my bottle and my thoughts are, yes the bottle is beautiful and would look amazing on a vanity table, however, the perfume was not what I had expected. It smells really nice, but it reminds me of Prada’s Infusion d’Iris, so it is powdery and soft. My only complaint is that, I would have wanted a perfume that is truly unique to Marchesa, but then again I am very picky and I only wear certain perfumes!
