Two-Tone Lips Backstage at Holly Fulton!

Despite the fact that Fall is in full-swing, I'm all about playing with contrasts and heating things up with a bold, bright lip. Backstage at Holly Fulton, makeup artist Andrew Gallimore crafted a gorgeous two-tone, ombre-effect lip that turned heads without looking too outrageous. While multiple steps were required to mix the perfect stand-out shade that could be spotted on the runway even from way back in the nosebleed seats, you can create your own low-maintenance ombre lip inspired by the pros!

Apply a bright pink shade to the entire lip like MAC Lipstick in Candy Yum-Yum. Then apply a bright orange, opaque gloss like Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Orange directly to the center of the lip and blend outward to coat the middle half of your bottom lip. This not only creates an awesome color gradient effect, but also creates the illusion of a plumper, fuller pout to boot!
