Nail Polish Find - Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop Nail Polish

If this polish doesn't say FUN! I don't what does....
Candy Show is a (sheer) pink with really large, multi-shaped, large, chunky glitter which gives the amazing effect of a donut or cupcake with sprinkles.
I found the best way to apply this is to "press" the polish on to my nails during each coat, rather than brush it on - and then let dry completely before adding the next one. The polish has a nice texture and is smoother than it would appear given the level of glitter.  If you apply 3 coats the pink will be opaque.
This is perfect when you just want something fun and different, and it's perfect for young girls/teens for a cute (and crazy!) school look.
Note: This polish takes a bit of effort to remove the traditional way. I highly recommend this video to learn a great trick for easily removing glitter nail polish. - RLB

Powder Sunscreen: It's Time to De-Shine!

This guest post is courtesy of Thefind

It's fun being the center of attention... as long as it's for something fabulous, and sadly, a shiny forehead is not a good reason. The truth is, you should always be wearing an SPF of some kind, especially when the weather heats up, but let's face it – being forced to add an extra layer to your face when your makeup already feels like it's going to melt off is a total bummer. Enter powder sunscreen – perfect for girls with oilier complexions (or just looking for a dryer alternative to oily sun lotions or sprays), these makeup-sunscreen hybrids allow you to de-slick your overall look while providing your skin with serious sun protection. N

o more smearing on heavy creams over or under your foundation, or worse, skimping on SPF entirely just for the sake of sparing yourself that unsightly shiny, sunscreeny sheen. Now you can protect while still looking powder-fresh and keeping your summer makeup minimal! Drugstore Buy of the Week - Black Opal Even True Brightening Under-eye Concealer

Right in the drugstore isle you can find one of the most advanced concealers - and it's made for women of color too!
Black Opal Even True Brightening Under-eye Concealer has become my newest go-to concealer for every day.  It's lightweight and oil free, with a smooth, formula.
What makes it unique is that it's one of the few that also contains a roller ball applicator that cools the eye area and provides de puffing benefits at the same time.
The concealer is neither too liquid-y or too thick - just the right weight and very pigmented. The concealer was very easy to use - I just pressed down on the roller ball, and squeezed out a small amount of concealer while rolling it under my eyes.  I loved how cool and refreshing the roller ball felt, and it provided a nice little massage in the early morning!
The coverage is fantastic - I was able to get either medium or full coverage, and it blended very easily   The finish is semi-matte, but non drying, so there was no flaking or dry patches in the eye are.  I used the shade Beautiful Bronze which matched my skin perfectly, while being just slightly lighter than the area to provide that brightening effect.  I used this effectively on my under eye area as well as spot concealing on other areas on my face.
There are 6 shades in all, which will accommodate a wide range of skin tones for all women of color. - RLB

Beauty Find - Laura Mercier Faux Lash Mascara

A mascara's promise of volume and length can be a subjective one, but if you're like me and love mascara (and high-impact lashes), in general, it often comes down to those first few swipes with the brush - and the what your lashes look (and feel like) seconds after.

Laura Mercier Faux Lash Mascara passed the test for me and it's a mascara I highly recommend - but with a few application tips which I'll mention below. The formula is thick and creamy, and the brush is very thick, dense and large.

The mascara applied like a dream and definitely felt like a decadent treat for my lashes daily. I also loved the finish, which is a glossy, black one. The amount of length extension for my lashes was phenomenal (and my lashes are naturally fairly long) - as was the volume and thickness I could achieve with just 2-3 coats. My lashes remained soft and this formula did not smudge or flake during the day.

This can be layered later after the initial application very nicely if you want even more impact for night time.

Here are two things I recommend to get the best results out of this mascara: Step 1. Wipe off the tip of the brush (due to it's size, when you initially take the brush out of the tube, there is usually excess mascara/large clump on the tip) Step 2. Go a little slower as you swipe this mascara along the lashes (again, the larger size and shape of this brush are not ideal for separation - but I found when I went a little slower on my lash swipes, I never had a problem with clumping and got a great result.

Wonderful mascara for the mascara lovers out there! - RLB

Fragrance Find - Jimmy Choo Flash

Looking for a sexy "Floriental" (floral fragrance with warm/oriental notes) for spring?
Jimmy Choo Flash fits the bill perfectly.
The second fragrance from luxury shoe/accessories brand Jimmy Choo, was created by Christine Nagel, (also famous for the perfume big hit, Narcisco Rodriquez for her).
Flash begins with a nice "airy", sparkling mix of citrus blended with fresh sweet notes, strawberry and pink pepper. The effect was fresh and uplifting.  While this opening was not the most original one I've experienced, it was very pleasant.
Past the first few minutes of  the opening, the scent became decidedly more complex.  The floral notes came in, but softly, and for many hours.  The sensuousness of the fragrance for me lies in the creamy woody warmer notes that blend in with the florals throughout the day and make it more of a classic oriental.
The dry down became warmer and dryer - but not too much sweeter, which I really loved.  There was a nice amount of Vanilla, but it was balanced with drier, woody notes which kept it very sophisticated. There were also touches of honey-like notes which left a appealing finish on my skin.
From the opening to the dry down this scent had a very nice pace - it transformed and developed smoothly and slowly, which also added to it sexy quality.

I liked the moderate level of silage while I walked around during the day or out at evening, and the staying power, while not more than 6+ hours on me, made it a fragrance that I touched up in the evenings - and looked forward to, as a matter of fact.  This is a fragrance with a knockout bottle meant for admiring - and a scent you'll reach for on a regular basis. - RLB

Fragrance Notes:
Top notes: pink pepper, strawberry, tangerine
Middle Notes: tuberose, jasmine, white lily
Base Notes: white wood, heliotrope

Mother's Day Find - Tocca Crema da Mano Stella

Tocca fragrances and their fragranced products (body care, candles),  have become one of my favorite lines in recent years.

Everything from the scent creations - to the stories behind the scents, are captivating.  Pair that with their beautifully packaged products which are a nod to vintage cosmetics, mixed with elegant luxury, and you've got the perfect line for gift giving.

This Mother's Day, treat her to the newest product in the Tocca Stella Body Care line, Tocca Beauty Crema da Mano - Hand Cream .

The scent is based on that of the perfume - a refreshing and uplifting Italian blood orange wand gentle floral notes.

This hand cream is creamy and medium weight in texture.  It also leaves a beautiful trace of the fragrance, while hydrating dry hands completely, and never being greasy or sticky.  -RLB

Body Care Find - Tweezerman Mix ‘N Match Runway Prints SoleMates

I've discovered a new product that you'll use ALL the time - and not mind having out in the open in your bathroom for all to see.

The Tweezerman Mix n' Match Runway Print Sole Mates is the perfect tool to take care of rough patches, dry feet, dead skin and calluses.  The two sides fit together to reveal this cool cheery modern print (seen closed above). It's only about 6"in long.

The stainless steel Miro-file, (The pink side seen to the left when open), does an quick, (painless) and easy job of removing all the dead skin on feet. Especially on heels which need a lot of TLC if you're a constant walker like me.

Best of all, all the foot shavings are stored in a compact opening under the file until you're done.  So no mess!  Then, all you have to do is open up the top (silver area shown upper right) and toss in the garbage.

The white side is the finishing file (seen to the left when open). I used after filing to quickly buff my heels, and my feet looked and felt like perfection - soft, smooth and sandal ready!

This is a foot care item you should never be without.  Easy to travel with and take to the gym as well! It can also be easily washed with warm water. - RLB

Get Lusher Lashes (and Brows!) with Givenchy Mister Lash Booster

This guest post is courtesy of Thefind

Hate me if you must, but I've never had much of a problem when it comes to insufficient lashes. Sure, I love me some falsies for a special occasion out on the town, but my natural lashes have never left me wanting more on a day-to-day basis. My brows, however, leave me more than a little to be desired. Thin, wiry, and borderline bald, I've mostly resorted to penciling them in (for better or worse) to make up for their sad sparseness.... but lately I've been inspired to look into some actual at-home treatments to boost my brows to fabulousness (or closer to it, at least). That's how I stumbled upon Givenchy Mister Lash Booster

Though it's designed to make lashes denser, stronger, and fuller, this clear, non-sticky formula also works on brows and even serves as a primer for both mascara and brow products. It smooths, nourishes, and adds gloss to my lashes and brows while also helping to improve growth and prevent damage. I've only been using it at night for the past month or so and I already notice slightly fuller, thicker, more "confident" brows, plus my brow pencil seems to last much longer and look more natural throughout the day (and I don't need to use as much of it to mimic the look of full brows)! If you're looking to boost lashes or brows yourself, I suggest giving Givenchy Mister Lash Booster a try! - Alexandra Gambardella

Drugstore Buy Of The Week - Pantene Pro-V Truly Relaxed Hair Collection

Several years ago Pantene made a big splash with their first ever mass consumer hair care line for women of color, focusing on natural and relaxed hair.
I've been a big fan of the line ever since, and was very happy to see that Pantene went back, retooled and created two separate lines - one for relaxed hair and one
for natural (e.g.tightly curly to-coiled ) hair.
The Pantene Pro-V Truly Relaxed promises so many great things for relaxed hair: 72 hour moisturize, shine, compatible with hair that is both relaxed and color treated, preventing breakage and promoting healthy hair growth - so read on to find out how well it did!
There are four products in the line: Two Pantene Pro-V Truly Relaxed Hair Lightweight Shampoo & Pantene Pro-V Truly Relaxed Hair Intense Moisturizing Shampoo, Pantene Pro-V Truly Relaxed Moisturizing Conditioner, and Pantene Pro-V Truly Relaxed Hair Oil Creme Moisturizer .
One of the best features of all the Truly Relaxed products is the scent - it's clear, fresh and slightly sweet (it contains coconut and jojoba oil) but never overwhelming.  If your hair and scalp are very dry or you're dealing with very cold temps, I recommend using the Moisturizing Shampoo.

Similar to the original version I used years ago, this shampoo is very creamy, thick and concentrated, so no more than a cap full is needed - even if your hair is particularly thick or long.  The shampoo felt so smooth and lightweight at the same time.  I could immediately feel the softness of my hair and after rinsing, it maintained that softness with no greasy feel or residue.  My hair and scalp felt hydrated, my hair felt clean - but not striped.

If you have very fine hair, or hair that is not very dry, then the Lightweight Shampoo is perfect for your needs.
Next up: The Pantene Pro-V Truly Relaxed Moisturizing Conditioner. The conditioner was also very creamy and thick, but had a nice whipped  airy feeling to it.  It provided the perfect amount of moisture to my hair.  This was also excellent for combing out tangles and after rinsing my hair was very smooth and had a great amount of shine.
I finished off with the Oil Creme Moisturizer on damp hair, as directed (as a leave-in conditioner/hair treatment). This is very concentrated, so I would recommend starting with only about a dime's sized worth and add more only if your hair is very long and/or thick.  I then either applied heat with a blow dryer or let air dry, but either way my hair remained very smooth and soft, with no frizz and great shine. There was no heavy, sticky or greasy feeling, so my hair had great "bounce" and movement when I was done styling.

Using this system every week, I could definitely feel how much healthier my hair looked and how much less breakage I saw.

I know how much you love your relaxed hair after getting your hair freshly shampooed/blown dry/set at the salon.  Well, this is the closest thing to replicating that look and feel at home (and all for only around $4-6.99 a piece!).  This Pantene collection is a MUST have. - RLB

Beauty Find - Aqualillies for Tarte Collection

Aqualillies, a glamorous group of American synchronized swimmers, were the inspiration behind Tarte’s summer 2013 offering,  I love the Coral and Aqua color palette - and the product and accessory packaging is vintage inspired yet still very bold.  There are some real collectibles here!

Read on for some of my favorites from the collection.

Aqualillies for tarte limited-edition glamazon pure performance 12-hour lipstick in Timeless

It's a beautiful, bright deep coral for when you want to make a bold lip statement. This will look great on many different skin tones and actually has some slight blue undertones which make teeth look very white too! It's very pigmented (so it will last a long time), creamy and applies very smoothly.  The finish is almost - but not quite matte and it's very moisturizing.  The tube is also gorgeous with it's coral and gold detail and print on the wooden tube.

The color stayed put the entire day - with only a little coming off with eating/drinking.  What I also loved was that and my lips were kept smooth and soft throughout the day with no additional products.

Aqualillies for tarte Amazonian clay waterproof liner in splash

This shimmery teal blue shade is one of the prettiest blues I've seen in a gel liner. The liner works really well on either top and bottom on it's own, or over a black liner. They can be used in the waterline as well as they are also water resistant. The color doesn't fade or smudge all day, and the dual-ended liner brush (one end features a bent angle, the other is straight), made it really easy for me to create very thin or thicker lines.  Try a blue cat eye with this one!

Aqualillies for tarte Amazonian clay finishing powder

Tarte's original Clay Finishing Powder is now in a limited edition packaging that is truly vanity worthy - perfect to treat yourself too this Spring.  I love this translucent powder for it's ability to instantly mattify makeup, soak up oil in my t-zone, yet still offer a bit of diffused light effect on the skin. It's velvety smooth, ultra lightweight on the skin, and truly colorless - no white or grey chalky residue on the skin. - RLB

Best of the BB Creams? Tarte's BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer

This guest post is courtesy of Thefind

While I'm always game to test and try out almost any pre-foundation primer under the sun (sadly, these enlarged pores won't hide themselves), I haven't been an equally enthusiastic fan of BB creams. Most of the ones I've tried are too lightweight and too thin with not enough coverage to help hide my particular skin woes, or too moisturizing and oily for my shine-prone skin.

That is, until I discovered Tarte's BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer, thanks to a particularly generous stash of samples that arrived with my last Sephora haul. Part BB cream but with the coverage of a primer – not to mention the added benefit of SPF 30 sunscreen – this handy multitasker hides my pores like nothing else I've ever tried! Ridiculously easy to blend and apply, this is probably the most lightweight BB cream I've tested (and I've tested a lot!) while still delivering serious coverage.

It's so good, in fact, that I feel I could get away with wearing just this and some mattifying powder for the hotter summer months ahead! The only downside is that it is a little drying, but for gals with oily skin like mine, this can be considered an improvement compared to other moisture-laden BB alternatives! - Alexandra Gambardella

MAC Debuts New Bold + Bright Fashion Sets for Spring 2013

Last year, MAC debuted a series of monochrome sets for all you avid makeup collectors who like to play matchy-matchy with your beauty routine (or just like to stick to what you know!). With a lineup of coordinating nail polish, lipstick, and lip glass, MAC made it easy to embrace color while eliminating the guesswork of having to search for perfectly matching shades across different brands and products.

Now, just in time for Spring 2013, MAC is building on their Fashion Sets collection with a slew of bolder, brighter shades that are ready to warm up our makeup looks for the season ahead! Aside from last season's lips-and-nails-centric trifecta of goodies, MAC has extended the Fashion Sets collection to include lip liner and eyeshadow too, so you can really go all out once you find a shade you just can't get enough of.

Of course, we wouldn't actually recommend wearing all four matching products at the same time (unless you're intentionally going for the costume-y look), but if you love a certain shade enough to rock it five different ways, look no further than the latest Fashion Sets for spring! - Alexandra Gambardella

Drugstore Buy of the Week - Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Moisturizer + Serum Duo with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15

There are quite a few  "alphabet" creams (BB/CC) which offer a multitude of benefits perfect for the multi-tasking women without a lot of time, counter space (or money) on her hands.
If you also want skincare that can prime your skin for those aforementioned cremes and offer lots of complementary healthy benefits at the same, look no further than Olay Total Effects 7 In One Moisturizer + Serum Duo With Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Fragrance-Free .

This little drugstore wonder happens to deliver Total Effects’ most concentrated formula, along with a  Broad Spectrum SPF 15 to fight the seven signs of aging: fine lines and wrinkles, loss of firmness, visible pores, uneven skin tone, uneven texture, dryness and dullness. Not only that, but if you have drier and/or more mature skin that also love using a serum daily - this alsoincludes that in one step!

I easily released one pump of the cream into my hands for application (It's very concentrated and spreads easily - so I suggest start with this amount first, only add more if you really need it).  The texture and consistency of the product is creamy, but a bit thicker than you might expect.  However, once I began smoothing it on my skin, I loved the silky texture which had that serum-like feel.  It absorbed almost on contact without leaving any residue or white film from the sun screen.  The scent is very faintly floral/traditional sunscreen, and quickly dissipates.

After applying the finish is semi-matte and my skin was nicely hydrated and smooth.  This was the perfect prep for makeup and worked very well with anything I used over it, such as BB Cream/Foundation or Powder.  After use for just a few weeks daily, my skin definitely seemed brighter and smoother, and I loved the little massage ritual I had with it early in the morning before doing my makeup.

For those of you who want quality anti-aging care, sun protection and the luxe feel of a serum, (and all for about $17)  - this is absolutely a must have product for your skincare routine  - RLB

Beauty Find - Stila Countless Color Pigments

Here's a new multi-use palette from Stila that will really get you smiling and your creative juices flowing!
Stila Countless Color Pigments in Tie Dye, shown above (a mix of hot pink/ turquoise blue/ deep violet), is one of my favorites. The three powder shades can be worn alone or mixed together on eyes - or even cheeks.
This makes a great little treat for not only yourself  but for spring/summer beauty gifts as each pan is like a piece of abstract art.

The pigments are bright, smooth and beautifully colored.  When I used them for eye shadows, I did apply eye primer first, and just had fun doing different combinations with the lid shades and lining the eyes (both wet and dry).  The colors are silky and just a tiny amount was all I needed to begin getting the true, bold shades seen in the pan.
The pink/purples sections of Tie Dye make a really fun blusher, and whats great is that each time you mix it, it will look a little different on your skin.  If you want to really do something different, you can try swirling all the colors together for a very unique cheek color.
There are 5 more color combinations to choose from, with pinks, oranges, reds and brown shades (Lyric and Finale are shown, at left).  . - RLB

Beauty Find - Smashbox Mega Tint Long Wear Lipcolor

I've talked about several great lip tints recently, but here's one I love for it's very different finish - matte.

Smashbox MegaTint Long Wear Lip Color  is a perfect choice when you want a long wear color - but with a smooth, matte finish - with no shine at all.

There are some fun shades in the line, perfect for statement lips like Mimosa is a fun coral shade (pictured, above), which can be dotted on lightly for more of a true stain, or layered more heavily for a finished matte lip. The texture is smooth, creamy and lightweight and I was able to apply easily, with the feel of a true lipstick.  This product does stay on all day - it faded a bit with drinking and eating, but at the end of an 8+ hour day I still had a nice tint.

When I wanted a bit more a sheen to the finish, I add a touch of lip balm (not gloss!) and it seemed to still retain most of it's long wearing ability. While the finish is matte, the product is not at all drying on my lips during the day- yay!  Another great shade is the cherry red  Cerise which is perfect for a modern red lip that you can apply in the morning and not have to worry about it all day! - RLB

Nail Polish Find - ELLE COSMETICS Nail Lacquer

In a genius move from Elle Magazine, they created a line of inexpensive cosmetics exclusively for Kohls stores.  The new ELLE COSMETICS Nail Lacquer collection has lot of nice surprises.

One of my favorite shades is called "Ship Shape" (shown, above).  Note: While this photo is a bit lighter than the actual shade, it's a very pretty cross between creamy blue and a bright periwinkle - very unique.  I got a LOT of compliments and questions on what I was wearing with this one.

The formula was a nice surprise - it's very creamy, not too thick and opaque enough that one coat brought me the exact shade in the bottle. The application was incredibly smooth with no streaking and a nice brush and provided easy coverage on the nail bed.

The finish is shiny (although I still used a top coat) and I got excellent wear from it.  It was well over a week before I saw any chipping!

ELLE COSMETICS Nail Lacquer comes in over 20 shades, with plenty of pinks, pastels, purples and neutrals, along with more unique shades like Ship Shape - and best of all, I found it dried really fast.

Pick up a few of these for Spring/Summer manicure and pedicure looks. - RLB

Drugstore Buy of the Week - Garnier Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil

If you're a fan of 2-in-1 products, then 3-in-1 products really make you happy - don't they?

Garnier Fructis Haircare Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil for Hair, Body, and Face is one of those products that really delivers on all three of it's uses.

It's a dry oil made from Fruit Olec, Olive, Avocado and Shea butter in a nice little spray bottle.  First, for hair, this works on both wet and dry hair.  Note:  If you have thinner, naturally straight or wavy hair start by spray ONE pump in the palm of your hand and then apply to hair lightly - otherwise your hair may appear greasy.  However, if you have dry and or very curly or textured hair, while you still don't need a huge amount, use a few more pumps (spray in your hand first) and then apply to hair for best results.

This oils make hair instantly shiny, absorbing quickly and still allowing hair to move. This is also a great anti-frizz treatment for curly girls!  You can use first on wet hair, air dry or dry with a diffuser and you'll get beautiful, soft, bouncy, defined curls. Add a bit more on very humid days for added protection. The shine was great, the smell is fantastic (slightly floral and a touch sweet) and it really did do a great job of sealing and softening my dry ends. Since it's a dry lightweight oil, it never weighed down my hair or caused it to be sticky.

For the body this is just as amazing. Post shower, while my skin was still sightly damp I spayed directly on to my body a few pumps and rubbed in. My skin was instantly soft and supply with a beautiful sheen. The moisturizing effects lasted through the day, and this even worked as a quick hand hydrator on busy days as well.

While many of you might shy away from oils on your face, this works very well (again used in moderation). After cleansing in the evenings, I sprayed one pump into my hands, warmed it up and then pressed/patted on my drier areas only, like my cheeks. Again, it absorbed instantly and softened my skin with no residue or stickiness. It never caused any blocked pores or irritation, and I liked the nice healthy sheen on my skin.

This $6 wonder should last you a few months which makes it a GREAT beauty bargain as well! - RLB

Impulse Buy of the Week - Kerastase Elixir Ultime Rose Millenaire

If you could envision the combination of the loveliest rose fragrance suited for hair PLUS nourishing oils to hydrate, provide shine and protect hair, then Kerastase Elixir Ultime Rose Millenaire is that perfect product. I just added a small pump into my hands, warmed up and rubbed it onto my dry ends in the morning - the perfect way to get out of the house with shiny hair and a lovely fragrance surrounding you at the same time!

The texture of the oil is lightweight, yet very concentrated, so just a small amount provides beautiful shine and hydration. It also leaves hair super soft and smooth. The scent is a very pretty, feminine floral that never overwhelms during the day, but leaves a soft trace of the rose around you for several hours after.

This can be used on relaxed, naturally straight or even curly hair and it leaves the hair bouncy with movement and never weighed down. It's also a great anti-frizz treatment and can be used on both dry or wet hair. One way to use it is as a leave in conditioner after washing and then you can either let air dry or heat style.

After drying you can add a touch more on the ends or though the entire length of hair for added shine and increased protection. Tip: Start off with a small pump and add more if needed for very thick/long or dry hair, for example.

This is such a treat and you'll love reaching for each time you use it. -RLB

Budget Beauty Find - Sonia Kashuk A Kiss on the Cheek Lip and Cheek Palette

Are you drooling yet over these four amazing colors for lips AND cheeks  (and only $15)?

Sonia Kashuk has another Target exclusive winner with the A Kiss on the Cheek Lip and Cheek Palette.  A collection of four gel/cream lip and cheek tints housed in a skim, snap-shut case with mirror.

Each and every one of the colors is perfect for brightening up both the skin and lips.  The four shades are (from top left to right, pictured above)  pink, coral, berry and deep rose.  I loved blending the pink and coral together for lip and cheek looks, and the deep rose provided the perfect "your lips but better" shade for me.

These can be used with fingers, a brush or blending sponge.  The colors are extremely pigmented and smooth, soft and creamy.  They just melted into my skin/lips leaving beautiful color throughout the day.  For lips, these work on their own and are very soft and hydrating, but they can also be paired with a gloss if desired.  The colors can be sheered out for a subtle stain on the lips, or applied with a lip brush for a very strong, defined mouth.  When using on the cheeks, for best results, warm them up a bit on the back of your hand first and then apply with a brush or fingers.

The finish on the cheeks is soft and slightly dewy and provide a really, nice healthy glow to the skin. For the lips it's semi matte and non-sticky.

This is perfect for travel and popping in your bag for the office/gym for when ever you decide to change or touch up your shades.  Plus, four shades like this with a high quality formula would cost you at least twice this amount in a luxury cosmetic line, so ...don't wait - pick one up now while you can! - RLB

Nail Polish Find- Candie's Glitter Nail Polish

Candie's Fashion line has expanded into beauty with a line sold exclusively through Kohls department stores.  The packaging is really fun a looks great on a dresser with its tall crown shape, flared at the top, and in a rosy metallic shade.

While you may have already picked up a few new nail shades for this spring/summer - these are two glitters that are worth a little extra investment to not only freshen up a basic manicure, but also pair with just about any new shade you have to make it truly fun!

The first one I love is called White Noise, (pictured, above), which is a glitter polish in which they are shaped like long bars. The glitter is in a clear base and two coats really makes a "confetti" type effect on the nails.  This shade is really nice for nail art projects, or just to add over your basic pinks, red or bold dark shades like blue or green.  The color of the flakes are holographic  so they take on many colors - like pink, blue and green.  I really love this one. As far as removal, they took a bit more "elbow greese" and remover than standard polish, but they weren't horrible to take off.

The next unique glitter in the line is called Over The Rainbow (pictured, below).

This is a glitter for real impact - it's a multi glitter which is a mix of hexagonal and small round glitter shapes in a color palette of silver, purple, pink, and green. This looks great on a bare nail, as well as over silver metallic or pale shades of polish - this one is a real conversation piece!

The prices are also great! Only $8.00 right now at Kohl's.

My New Favorite Lip Balm: Dior Creme de Rose

This guest post is courtesy of Thefind

I know, I know – I've totally been living under a rock (or maybe I've just been too busy slowly working through my more bargain-friendly stash of Maybelline Baby Lips and EOS Lip Spheres), but I've found a new lip balm love! The product itself is not "new," exactly, but as someone who is totally obsessed with lip products of all kinds, I'm happy to finally welcome Dior's Creme de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm into my ever-growing collection. I've recently been forcing myself to cut back on pricey beauty products until I make a bigger dent in my existing stash, but an equally beauty-obsessed friend of mine insisted that Dior's rose-scented balm was worth the $27 splurge, and I haven't looked back!

The sister product of Dior's best-selling Creme Abricot Nail Cream that dates back to the 60s, Creme de Rose soothes, plumps, hydrates, and protects lips with SPF 10. The scent isn't too overpowering, it doesn't burn or tingle like most plumping balms, and the petal pink shade is neutral enough that it's universally-flattering and looks pretty either alone or under lipstick. So far, I'm a huge fan, but would you shell out almost $30 for a stellar lip balm? Do you have your own favorite go-to? Let us know in the comments! - Alexandra Gambardella
