Drugstore Buy of the Week - Bodycology Sheer Bloom Flawless Glow Luminous Lotion

Body lotions can generally do a several main things, like hydrate, tone and tan for the most part.

But when a lotion goes to the next level with actually making skin look luminous and smell amazing - that's a WINNER!

Bodycology Flawless Glow Luminous Lotion, Sheer Bloom was not at all what I thought it might be.  Which is to say it was not a glittery, shiny, oily mess of a body treatment.

It was absolutely heaven to apply!  The cream was rich and thick, yet still felt lightweight on my skin.  It hydrated instantly and absorbed into my skin with no sticky film.

What was most impressive is how it managed to actually make my skin look better than ever with a innovated use of shimmer/gel in the formula. The lotion is a pale rose shade out of the bottle, and It gave my skin a slight golden cast when I first began spreading the lotion on my skin.  After I had completely finished rubbing it in, my skin just looked "luminous".

In sunlight I could detect very fine shimmer particles in tones like red, deep pink and gold, but these were very fine and sparsely spaced, which gave the effect of my skin just glowing and looking amazing, especially after a day in the sun with some added color.

This is fantastic in particular on legs and shoulders/arms. The scent, sheer bloom, was a very unique, slightly sweet floral scent that I looked forward to smelling each and every day.  It was prominent enough that it lingered a bit after application, but I didn't find that it interfered with my other product products or perfumes.

I should note that although it is hydrating, this will provided perfect moisture for
most normal/slightly dry skins in the summer time/humid conditions, but if you have very dry skin or are in cold/dry temps, I suggest mixing this with a thicker body cream
for best results. - RLB
