Drugstore Buy of the Week - Indeed Nanoblur

Indeed Nanoblur,is one of those products that is really good - but takes a little getting used to and must be truly understood in in order to get truly great results:

As stated on the product instructions, this product can be used in three ways: 1) Alone (after moisturizer) on bare skin. 2) After moisturizer/sunscreen and BEFORE adding liquid foundation/bb cream. 3) AFTER applying powder/mineral foundation.

However, I've found a few tricks that improved this product's performance. The texture is a very light, creamy lotion. When I wanted a nice, matte appearance during the day I tapped/pressed a small amount on my tzone (about a dime-sized worth) with my fingers. I worked very quickly when applying as this product dries extremely fast (2-3 sec) and allowed it to set. It did give me an instant mattifying and "soft focus" effect to my skin, and didn't settle into my pores or leave any sticky/dry feel to my skin. My skin felt soft, toned and smoother.

Then I applied my liquid or cream foundation/bb cream over it.  Using the Nanoblur as a primer product together kept my makeup looking very fresh throughout the day (usually one 1-2 blots with much less oil on my blotting paper). If you have drier skin, I recommend mixing a bit of the Indeed Nanoblur with your liquid foundation and then applying.  You'll find you will get a similar effect, plus great all day coverage.

This is also a great overall complexion enhancer that will diffuse the appearance of fine lines large pores and wrinkles, so it's perfect for those of you who prefer not to wear makeup, but want additional treatment over your moisturizer that will give you a polished, enhanced effect. - RLB

I have used this and just couldn't get it to work for me. It felt like tar on my face, I tried various methods but still didn't work.

Sorry to hear that! This is a product that does take a little modifying...If you still have the product, I would recommend possibly using a much smaller amount than you had previously, and then doing a press/pat (not rubbing!) to apply. :)
