Beauty Find - NARS Eye Paint

NARS has just launched a new bit of Eye "Candy" for all your makeup lovers!

NARS Eye Paints are highly pigmented and richly shaded gel colors that can be used as eye liner or eye shadow.  The new 10 shade collection features as innovative weightless gel formula that delivers long-lasting color. The collection has also launched with a new Angled Eyeliner Brush #38 (shown, left), for a perfectly defined eye when using the eye paint as a liner.

My favorite in the collection is Snake Eyes (shown, above), which is a very deep black with green shimmer.  Although in the picture it does read a more of a green, it is a black, and the green shimmer shines through more upon application.  Because of the amount of pigment, the color doesn't fade out as it's applied, so it's a real stunner. This shade also catches the light beautifully.  Used as a shadow, this shade shows more of the shimmer and can be intensified further with additional layers. Snake Eyes is a fantastic choice when you want to switch up your smoky eye for fall with a deep shade that's not a flat black.

Used as either liner or shadow the eye paint sets quickly, so blending must be done rapidly, but the payoff is ALL day wear with not fading, smudging, of shimmer transfer

For Fall, a green eye is a nice change of pace, and the new Mozambique (shown, left) is a pretty Khaki/Olive color which you probably don't have in your collection yet.  If you're new to this type of shade, below you'll find a NARS video to take you through how to wear it!

Some other great shades worth checking out are Tartar, which is a black base with purple shimmer and Ubangi, a black base with blue shimmer. - RLB
