Beauty Find - tarte Spring Collector's Edition Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment

The latest skin care product from tarte is treat for the eyes - both as in "a feast for" (with the beautiful Spring Collector's edition packaging) - and for it's effective eye brightening and moisturizing effects.

Tarte Maracuja C-BrighterE Eye Treatment  is the perfect eye cream for those of you who need basic moisture, help with some fine lines, and brightening up the under eye area in general. This cream was a pleasure to apply not only at night - but also in the morning and worked equally well under my makeup/concealer.  The product also has many natural ingredients, which is one of tarte's strengths as a brand - meshing science and nature to come up with products that feel good, look good and perform well.

The cream contains ingredients like Antioxidant rice bran, mango and coconut to fight signs of aging and free radical damage and oat sugars which instantly smooth and visibly tighten skin. It you're not familiar with Maracuja oil, it's the basis for this cream and it's rich in essential fatty acids (EFAs) known to replenish, rebuild, and brighten skin (and it's Hydroquinone free if that's something you're concerned about).
The cream's texture is a mid-weight and very smooth.  There's no heavy scent (it's a faint citrus),  and the cream absorbed into my skin very quickly, while leaving it soft and supple with no sticky or tacky feeling.  I used this 2x day for over 3 weeks - and while I don't have very dark circles, I did notice an improvement and an overall brightening up along my under eye area.  It's quite concentrated as well, so just about a pea sized amount is more than enough for both eyes.

Because the cream felt so great going on, it was perfect for a pre-makeup face massage in the morning to help me look more alert and fresh, or at the end of the day before bed.  Treat yourself to this one! - RLB
