Beauty Find - Clarins Multi-Blush Cream Blush, Grenadine

As soon as I saw this lovely new Clarins Multi-Blush Cream Blush from Clarins, it was love at first sight!

This particular color, Grenadine (shown, above) is such a happy, cheery and chic coral-based shade.  It's effortless to apply as the texture is very creamy, but with a very light, unique, silky feel on the fingers and face that completely won me over.

While this did work well with a stippling brush (like my SEPHORA COLLECTION Pro Large Domed Stippling Brush #41), I usually blended it easily with my fingers, and it worked well over foundation or on bare skin.

After blending, the cream formula dries to a satin powder finish.  The shades look much more vibrant in the pan, but the effect on the skin is like a sheer, natural wash of color. The blush is also very long lasting.  I would say after a morning application, 6+ hours later it was still going strong with full pigment and saturation with no fading or flaking.

If you really want a vibrant blush effect, this also wears well layered under a bright powder blush as well.  And if you're looking for any further justification to pick this little beauty up, it also contains hydrating floral waxes from rose, mimosa, jojoba and sunflower, making this ideal for those of you with drier skins or in cold/dry climates.  While Grenadine was my favorite, there are 3 other very pretty pink-based shades in the collection as well.

Clarins Multi-Blush Cream Blush is for those of you who want easy, fresh faced color.  And with it's chic gold packaging small enough to fit in almost any bag (it's about the size of a thin cigarette lighter), this is your newest must-have beauty treat. - RLB
