Budget Beauty Find - mark Cosmetics Got the Goods Multi-Benefit Foundation Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 15

mark is constantly surprising me with their innovative (and wallet friendly) beauty products.
My latest find is the mark Got the Goods Multi-Benefit Foundation Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 15.  This is the perfect foundation for those of you who like the idea of a tinted moisturizer, but want a few extra benefits and a bit more coverage.

The foundation has the smooth, light and liquid texture of a lotion and once I applied it to my face I could feel how lightweight and silky smooth it was.  It immediately evened out my skin and gave me a beautiful, healthy, natural glow with the right amount of hydration (and sun protection too!).

It's so lightweight that I felt like I literally had nothing but moisturizer on, but my skin certainly had a "your skin but better" look. The finish is slightly dewy and very natural looking.  It's also fairly concentrated, and I usually used no more than two pumps worth and applied with a foundation brush, or my fingers.  If you have combination or slightly oily skin, a touch of pressed/loose powder or a oil-fighting primer in the t zone will keep things settled all day.

This is a great product for everyday use, the office or on the weekends.  If you need a touch more coverage in the under eye area, this also works well over concealer. It's also a buildable foundation which you can layer, if needed, to about medium coverage.

The convenient small pump tube packaging also made it really easy to pack for travel or in a day bag for touch ups.

I also love that this line has a broad range of shades, (7 of which are medium to dark brown shades).  I used Dark 11 which was a great match, and 12 will work for me in the summertime.
With Springtime here, make the switch to a lighter formula like this one - you'll love it! - RLB
