Drugstore Buy of the Week - L'Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Eye Smoother

While we all know there are not very many beauty "miracles" in a jar, so to speak, if you have realistic expectations, L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Eye Smoother Eye Treatment can be a great "primer" to create a smooth, even toned appearance for the eye area.

I have combination skin, mild puffiness and mild dark circles, and this is the ideal candidate for this product.  The packaging was very convenient and easy to use.  It comes in a squeeze tube with a cooling metal tip for the eye area.  Note: If you keep this in the refrigerator it will enhance the cooling and depuffing effects.

The smoother is very creamy with a silicone feel and a soft application on the skin. It's very concentrated, so just a pea-sized amount gave me an instant lightening effect and the "blurring" which made the darker areas seem much less prominent.  The formula also gives the skin a nice layer to add additional concealer, foundation, BB cream, etc. for additional coverage if needed.

This eye version does have some caffeine, so that will help with a small amount of puffiness, and if you have tiny lines, it will also help fill those in very well.  I also was impressed that it did not flake, pill or cake up with other makeup or after several hours of wear.  It also provides a nice amount of hydration for those of you with very dry eye areas.

So, this is perfect as a first step before adding your enhanced under eye coverage (I did not need as much concealer when I used this product first). I think this is a great prep tool and skin enhancer to make your under eye area look brighter, more wide awake and fresh. - RLB
