Beauty Find - Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel

Ole Henriksen has been a facialist to the stars and models for years now, and I've been very impressed with the expansion of his skincare line over the last few years.

His latest product is one of those little beauty wonders that you may not believe exists until you try it.  Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel is a very unique eye treatment that does exactly what it claims - but, (and I stress this) - you MUST use it correctly.

As per the directions, this is a gel to be used at night time before bed.  The texture of this gel is a little heavier than your average gel, and once on the skin, it is sticky.

But - before you let that turn you off, keep in mind that the stickiness only lasts until it's fully absorbed into the skin. Once that happened for me, my eye area felt hydrated and soft, but definitely with a slight "film" over it.  Keep in mind as well, this gel is very concentrated, so I only used about a pea sized amount for both eyes.  (I would discourage using more than this).

I used a light massaging and tapping method with my fingers, moving in an upwards motion to apply.  I really took my time in the evening, usually doing this for about 1-2 minutes.  It was such a nice little luxury at the end of a long day.

In the morning I was more than pleased with the results!  I had zero puffiness, my eyes felt toned, brightened and refreshed.  If you tend to have very dry skin, this overnight treatment will also give you continuous moisture so that fine lines will be reduced.

To enhance the refreshing effects, I leave this in my refrigerator, and at night during the summer, it was such a treat to take it out and apply the cold gel under my eyes after cleansing!

Even more amazing - the effects of this Lift Eye Gel continued throughout the morning, so I no longer had to apply my usual eye cream before my makeup.  I simply didn't need it, because my eye area had already been"prepped" from the overnight treatment.

If you want to beatify while you're sleeping and see real improvement in the eye area, look no further than this stellar eye treatment. - RLB

Drugstore Buy of the Week - Secret Antiperspirant & Deodorant Invisible Solid, Hawaii Citrus Breeze

If this is the closest you get to Hawaii this summer...it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

This new Secret Antiperspirant & Deodorant Invisible Solid, Hawaii Citrus Breeze is part of Secret's Destination Collection, with scent inspired by actual fragrances located in some of the most famous places in the world.

Citrus Breeze is inspired by the fruits and floral of beautiful Hawaii.  It's perfect for those of you who love Citrus scents or just fresh, crisp, uplifting scents in general.  I found that the citrus in this fragrance blended very nicely with mild, slightly sweeter notes. Nothing smelled too "fake" or over the top.

I found the formula texture very smooth and silky and the scent was prominent going on, but lingered in a very casual way during the day.  And true to it's name, it went on clear, stayed clear on my skin and didn't turn my clothes white or stain them!

The 48 hour protection is a great bonus.  I found that it definitely worked, (even in very high temps) for well over 24 hours.  Personally, it was nice knowing it could give me sweat and odor protection for another day, (but I have to admit I rarely let it go that long - even for testing).

There are 2 other destination scents in the collection to try as well: Paris Romantic Rose and Brazil Rain Forest Mist.  Pick up all three and store one for the gym, home, travel...I can't wait to try them all! - RLB

Beauty Find - Kiehl's Since 1851 Micro-Blur Skin Perfector

Blurring Creams are becoming the new "Alphabet" Creams. (e.g. BB Cream /CC Cream), etc.
But that doesn't mean they are a passing fad.  On the contrary, when I come across a great blurring cream like Kiehl's Since 1851 Micro-Blur Skin Perfector, it reminds me that
there's still a lot of innovative ways to create skincare that preps, protects and improves skin with real benefits.

The best way to use Kiehl's Since 1851 Micro-Blur Skin Perfector is as a primer.  It has a silky, lightweight texture and light diffusers that blur out large pores, uneven skin tone, minor blemishes and redness. I loved how soft and smooth it made my skin before adding my foundation or BB Cream.  It made all the difference in creating a perfect canvas for application, and then a seamless, flawless skin appearance after makeup was applied.

It's very concentrated so, while I though the tube was on the small side, I needed only about an M + M candy-sized amount for my entire face. I used a dabbing/patting action to apply it.  The Skin Perfector is slight peach/cream color out of the tube, but invisible when applied to the skin.  It dried completely clear and it didn't leave any trace of grey or white residue on my skin.  I don't have large pores on my nose, but I could see immediately how it did blur any little imperfections around my nose area and my T zone in general.  It perfectly moisturized my skin, but didn't make my more oily areas look or feel more oily.

The benefits were seen all throughout the day.  My makeup remained fresh, my t zone was significantly less oily and required much less blotting (when I used this primer under a foundation and setting powder combo, or a cream-to-powder foundation, I had almost zero oily breakthrough for most of the day.)

Kiehl's Since 1851 Micro-Blur Skin Perfector was also gentle on my skin and I experienced no breakouts, clogged pores or irritation.  While it doesn't have any SPF, it was very easy to get at least 30+ with either a BB Cream or foundation over it, so I never had to spend more than a few minutes getting my skin/makeup together in the morning.

If you have fairly good skin and like a natural look (with some enhancements), this can also be used after cleansing, and a lightweight SPF moisturizer.  You will have a natural look, but with a much smoother, more polished appearance with fine lines softened and pores/discoloration much less noticeable..

There are a few other blurring creams which have impressed me, but this is definitely 1 of my favorites.  - RLB

Beauty Find - Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Push-Up Liner

If your tried and true summer time eye liner is a gel liner (pot formula with a eye liner brush), then Benefit Cosmetics Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Push-Up Liner will not only give you superior color and long lasting wear - but it's a whole lot easier to apply.

I'd heard all the hype around this new launch and decided to pick one up.

I'm a daily eyeliner wearer, and for me, although I'm pretty skilled at pencil, liquid pen, and gel pot eyeliner, I'm always looking for something that will give me the most bang for my buck. Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Push-Up Liner is perfect for creating a flawless cat eye/winged eyeliner look.

The shape of the pen is spot on - it's pen design fit easily in my hands and allowed me for perfect precision. The shape and slant of the top nib mimics the classic gel eyeliner brush. I easily drew lines close to my lash line and created different angles because the nib of the pencil is flexible.

The gel actually comes out of a tiny opening at the tip of the nib. The texture of the gel is very smooth and creamy, and it easily glided along my lash line. The finish is extremely black and pigmented, and it dries matte. It's perfect for day time/night time and weekend looks. I found there was no smudging, fading or transfer for over 9+ hours (even in very hot/humid conditions). This formula is also waterproof, so if you want a bit of an eye while in the pool or at the beach, you can do it with no worries. Yes, this one is the "real" deal! - RLB

Note: The first time you use this pen, take your time. You need to get used to doing the following with each application: To release the flow of gel, twist the end of the pen a few times so that there is enough gel to line the eyes.

Beauty Find - Hourglass Panoramic Long Wear Lip Liner

Lip Liner is not always a must have product for me, particularly in the summer time, but I was very intrigued by Hourglass' latest product, Hourglass Panoramic Long Wear Lip Liner.

It combines some of my favorite lip product features - creaminess, water and smudge resistance, and intense color .

I fell in love with this liner and found myself reaching for it almost every day because it "feels" like much more than your average luxury lip liner.  The creaminess is quite frankly unmatched by any other brand I've tried recently, and the staying power is fantastic.

I loved using the pinky-brown shade, Eden (shown, above), as a nice base for either a very neutral/natural pink lip, or too add more color - either in the pink, red or even coral family. The pigment in the liner is so intense, just a few swipes were all I needed to cover my lips fully.

This liner worked extremely well under lip gloss, matte/satin lip stick and even tinted lip balms. It also features a small brush on the opposite end which was really nice for blending the liner out across my lips to use as a lip color, or just soften the line when I used as more of a traditional lip liner.

When I mentioned earlier that this liner has great staying power, I also should note that it's also transfer and smudge resistant - so if you're wearing this on it's own, fear not for leaving lip color marks on people's cheeks or your glass, etc.  I would say that after about 8-9 full hours I did see some fading, primarily in the center of my lips, but the outer edges remained in tact far beyond the 9 hours.

The other fascinating feature is how moisturizing  - yet featherweight and non-oily the liner is. Even if I wore it on it's own, my lips felt soft, smooth and hydrated.   The liner's size and attached brush is also perfect for travel and daily touch ups on the go.

If you thought all lip liners were the same - try Hourglass Panoramic Long Wear Lip Liner - and I'm sure you'll reconsider that opinion. :) - RLB

Note: This is not a twist up liner, so you will need to sharpen it, but this was a minor issue for me.

Drugstore Buy of the Week - Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo

Hair on the oily side and in desperate need of a wash? Or do you often just need a hair "refresh" after a intense gym workout or long night out?

Now with Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo you can have the best of both worlds - a great, non-residue leaving dry shampoo that actually smells fantastic.

As a a matter of fact, this has one of the best dry shampoo scents I've smelled.  It's minty fresh of course from it's mint oil infusion, but there's a touch of floral that also balances it out and makes it very feminine.  The fragrance is on the stronger side (since it's meant as a refresher) and I would say that it lingers more prominently for the first 30 min or so, and then much softer throughout the day.

It didn't make my hair look dull after brushing it though and it didn't leave any white residue (yay!), build up or feel sticky in my hair.  This can even be used daily for a hair fragrance if you like.  Most importantly for those of you with truly oily hair, when used as directed - spraying the roots of the hair and then brushing out, Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo actually make hair feel and look clean.

Here are a few great ways to use this shampoo even if you don't have oily hair:  Apply directly to your favorite brush/wide tooth comb and then run through the length of the hair.  You'll get the refreshing smell, some lift if you're a bit flat, but it won't dry out relaxed, wavy and loose-to-medium curly hair.  Also, if you need only a day before you wash your hair, you could apply just at the roots, finger massage or use a wide tooth comb, and you'll wake up with fresh smelling hair until you can shampoo.

All in all this is a little fragrant hair miracle for a fantastic price! - RLB

Beauty Find - Simple Ultra Light Gel Moisturizer

Simple is a line of budget-friendly skincare made with sensitive and oily skin in mind. Every product in the line is made without: Harsh Chemicals, Artificial Perfume or Dyes or Parabens, and they all contain multi-vitamin formulas.

Simple Ultra-Light Gel Moisturizer is a new find I found it perfect for sweltering summer days when you still may need spot moisture - or year round for those of you sensitive and oily skin. This is a product that is and does exactly what it says: The texture is a true lightweight gel formula that glided easily on my skin and absorbed instantly with a matte finish. There are no added colors or irritants, so I experienced no irritation or clogged pores while using it.

It provided the perfect amount of moisture for my drier areas like my cheeks/eyes throughout the day (which is primarily where I used it). On very hot, humid days it didn't flake, run or feel like it was melting. I found this worked well underneath any additional makeup I layered over it - from SPF BB/CC Creams to Tinted Moisturizers for added coverage and sun protection (Simple Ultra-Light Gel Moisturizer does not have SPF).

This is a gentle, effective lotion for those of you with very specific skin needs, particularly in the summer. Pick this one up ASAP! - RLB

Hair Care Find - Pantene Damage Detox Weekly Rehab Crème

Throughout any given week - especially during the summer months, you and I put our hair through a lot - heat styling, pulling into ponytails, chlorine, sun, hats - not to mention chemical treatments like highlighters, relaxers and coloring.

But now, thanks to the genius over at Pantene you can get as close to "undoing" that damage to your hair each week as possible, with their miracle in a tube, Pantene Damage Detox Weekly Rehab Creme.

So what makes this different than a deep conditioner?, you might ask.  Well, this weekly treatment not only conditions hair but it also help makes it stronger to prevent future damage.  It works to reduce protein loss in hair strands and also contains powerful anti-oxidants.

The texture and scent are just so fantastic to use.  It's thick and creamy but very silky to the touch.  It also is made with Mint oil, so it smelled super fresh and minty and made me smile every time I used it.  After cleansing my hair I applied the treatment, paying special attention to my ends, and left it on for 2-5 min (but it does work well in just 2 minutes!).

It rinsed out cleanly and left my hair extremely smooth and soft. There was no waxy, gummy or oily residue.  Once I finished drying I could really tell the difference with my hair's increased shine and nice, bouncy movement.  I also tested this on my little sporty spice with long, naturally curly hair and it defined the curls without weighing them down and gave lots of shine.  While not a frizz-fighting product per se, I did notice much less frizz the first and second day after doing the treatment.

This treatment is also very concentrated, so although it's not a huge tube, you will get at least 2 + months use using weekly, (depending on the length and thickness of your hair). - RLB

*Try using with the Pantene Damage Detox Shampoo + Conditioner for even more protection - especially if you're going to be exposed to a lot of Chlorine/Sun and/or doing additional chemical processes to your hair this summer.

Beauty Find - Aveda inner light mineral tinted moisture broad spectrum SPF 15

Very light AND flawless coverage are not oxymorons.

Aveda inner light mineral tinted moisture broad spectrum SPF 15 is one of the best tinted moisturizers I've used.  It's unique because it allows me to have a dewy finish with light/medium coverage which also looks natural and effortless.

I used the deepest shade, 06 Bark (shown, above), which was a nice match. The moisturizer is very smooth, lightweight and concentrated (only a pea-sized amount is all I usually needed).

This worked well for me applying it with both fingers and a foundation brush/cosmetic sponge. When I needed some additional coverage in the under eye area, I simply added a touch of concealer and I felt fresh and put together.  Since this is a moisturizer, for dry skin, this is a dream.  If you have combination skin, I would recommend using a bit less in the t-zone.  This is perfect for an every day look or a more casual weekend makeup look.

For those of you who shy away from any kind of foundation/tinted skin product in the summer, I would recommend you rethink that with this product.  It's one of the best products to offer coverage, sun protection and a beautiful, natural finish in such a lightweight formula - you'll forget you have any makeup on! -  RLB

Drugstore Buy of the Week - Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Face Lotion, SPF 30

Here's another great budget friendly option for those of you with drier or more mature skin that needs moisture and sun protection in hot/humid weather.

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Face Lotion - SPF 30 combines a sheer, silky and light texture with a very hydrating formula.  An added bonus is that it that ALSO happens to smell quite nice and tropical.  It's not quite as strong as the classic Hawaiian tropic scent, but it is slightly floral and sweet and doesn't smell like "sunscreen".

The lotion has peach and white swirls which layers the sunscreen and the lotion together.  The lotion comes out white out of the bottle.  I found that it has a nice slip to it and easily glided over my skin while plumping and softening it instantly.  The lotion absorbed very quickly with no oily or greasy feeling. The finish is slightly shiny, but again, for those of you with dry skin, this will work well.  My skin felt hydrated all day, even on days when I was outdoors for the majority of the day in the sun. The lotion is also quite concentrated, so just about a dime-sized amount was more than enough for my face and neck.

On days when I wanted added protection, I would use this as a primer under my BB Cream/Foundation.  The lotion didn't cause my makeup to slip, fade or melt away during the day.  If you have very dry skin, I would recommend trying this with a tinted SPF moisturizer for continuous hydration and coverage during the day.

Since it is water resistant, I didn't feel like it was melting or slipping off, even if I perspired or was in contact with water.  However, I did reapply, (as recommended by dermatologists), a few times on a day when I was out in the sun for the majority of the day.

I also love the size and shape of the bottle which makes this a breeze to pack in a travel bag or gym bag. - RLB

Hair Care Find - Dark and Lovely Anti-Reversion Edge Sleeker

Soon many of us, particularly in the Eastern and Southern parts of the U.S., will be dealing with 90%+ humidity.  If you have naturally curly, wavy or even relaxed hair, you know that it usually means fighting the FRIZZ monster.

I've recommended a few products over the years that I still swear by to beat frizz, but I've recently discovered Dark and Lovely Anti-Reversion Edge Sleeker, which is a great alternative for when you're wearing a sleek/ponytail style and need to keep the edges of your hair smooth.

The sleeker is a lightweight hair serum which can be used on relaxed, naturally curly or wavy hair that tends to frizz on the edges.

This can be used after blowdrying, or as hair is air drying. It smooths hair down instantly and has just a touch of control so that hair actually sets and lays flat for hours - even in extreme humidity. The effects lasted several days, but if you do find you need a touch up, this can easily be reapplied without a lot of buildup or product flaking on the rest of the hair.  The gel dries clear and remains soft to the touch.

Once it's time to wash, it easily rinses out.  I found that this was best used when in combination with a pulled up, pony tail or bun hairstyle, which the hair has some tension. Note: This is not designed to be used on the full length of hair or on the ends.

I love the mascara-type wand applicator, which makes this ideal for having an spare in your everyday bag, as well as taking in your travel bag for that next tropical vacation! - RLB

Budget Beauty Find - 29 Lydia Mondavi Skincare, SPF 20 Wine Blot Lip Balm

If you'd like to "upgrade" your lip balm experience, I can think of nothing better right now than the new 29 Lydia Mondavi Skincare Wine Blot Lip Balm.

From it's elegant tube (which feels and looks much more like a luxe lipstick), to the beautiful packaging including a heavy case and 29 stamped on the cap, this is a great product.  And best of all it has a price that won't break the bank (around $9!).  The lip balm, like all of the products in the 29 line, is made with grape seed extracts, which act as natural anti-oxidants.

The dark wine colored center of the balm contains the grape seed-derived ingredients in the formula.  The balm was smooth and had a nice bit of slickness to it (but not greasy!).  I was very impressed by how quickly it softly melted into my lips - and made them soft, plump and smooth.  It has a fresh, citrus/berry - like scent, which dissipated quickly, and it applied clear with no tint/color.

The finish once it absorbed was semi-shiny, but not overly glossy.  I loved using this as a base under my more matte lipsticks, and also because it has a built in SPF of 20, I felt good about using this when I wanted a more natural lip on the weekends, at the beach, etc.

This is such a lovely product at a great price!  Stay tuned for another product  I fell in love with from the 29 line that I'll be sharing with you shortly.  In the meantime, head over to Target or Target.com and pick this little gem up.  - RLB

Father's Day Find - Kiehl's Oil Eliminator Skincare Line

Our Father's Day pick for this year is the perfect one for the man in your life who deals with a little extra oil in his skin than he would like.

Just in time for hot summer days, the new Kiehl's Oil Eliminator 3 piece line is made up of the Oil Eliminator Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Face WashOil Eliminator Refreshing Shine Control Spray Toner and Oil Eliminator 24 Hour Anti-Shine Moisturizer.

My own hubby was very impressed with the line, which was effective at reducing oil but not irritating his skin as well as the fresh, green scent of the products. P.S. The line is so well developed that there's one product in particular that us ladies will surely steal (keep reading!).

The Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Face Wash has a gel-based texture with small round exfoliating beads blended in.  Just a PEA sized amount generated tremendous foam that instantly cut facial oil after rinsing, without stripping or drying skin.  The beads provided a light exfoliation without being too rough or harsh. The beads helped with smoothing out the pores and rough patches around my hubby's nose in particular. This product has such a fresh, minty-green scent, he will loved using it to help wake him up in the AM.

The Oil Eliminator Refreshing Shine Control Spray Toner is the hero product of this line, in my opinion - and the one I found myself reaching for daily!  This toner has a fine, soft mist and it instantly cooled down our skin.  About a minute or two it dried and fully absorbed into the skin.

It significantly reduced oil in both of our T-zones and gave a much more matte appearance.  I tended to use this after washing and then another brief spritz after all my makeup was complete.  I also love this scent as well - minty and fresh!  This also makes a nice refresher for men to use on their feet after a long day working out, playing sports, etc.  If the man in your life would never be patient enough to apply toner with a pad, this spray is perfect for him!  He'll be done applying it before he even knows it.

The last product, the Oil Eliminator 24 Hour Anti-Shine Moisturizer is great for men to use post- shave, or if they have Normal-to dry patches of skin and still want a matte finish.  It's very lightweight, smooth and absorbs into skin very easily.  We both found that it provided nice hydration throughout the day. Note: This does not contain SPF.

Here's a 3 step men's skincare regimen that's effective, smells fantastic and is so easy to use - the man in your life with oily skin will thank you.  P.S. Don't hesitate to order an extra bottle of that Oil Eliminator Refreshing Shine Control Spray Toner for yourself too! - RLB

Drugstore Buy of the Week - Johnson + Johnson Safety Swabs

If you're like me, you're probably used to the classic Johnson + Johnson Q-Tips (and perhaps the store brand versions too).

But I was pleasantly surprised when I learned that many huge celebrity makeup artists were using a drugstore item to smudge out eyeliner to perfection, apply concealer, glitter and
loose eye shadow with ease - and it's been right under my nose this whole time!

Johnson + Johnson Safety Swabs are designed with a special tapered, tightly would but still soft and pliable end that makes them so easy to work with makeup.  I've also found these very useful for applying cuticle cream, skin spot treatments and even exfoliating lips with a lip scrub.  When doing an at home manicure, I prefer using this shape to clean up nail polish mistakes on the fingers as well.  If you love using false eyelashes, try using the precision tip to apply your glue along the lash strip as well.

Of course, I also have to note that these were designed for little babies and small children to safely (this tip shape is very hard to push far into the ear canal) and gently clean their ears and apply topical creams/ointments to small areas.

That means a large box is an inexpensive beauty multi-tasker for the whole family - so stock up! - RLB

Natural Beauty Find - Weleda Rose Body OIl

I've shared many of my favorite body and face oils with you over the years, and when an oil combines great (natural/non-irritating) fragrance, moisturizing without oily greasy residue, I always get excited.

Weleda, who makes some of my favorite natural skincare products, Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil has a luscious, yet gentle rose petal scent and this oil applies very smoothly and evenly. The texture is very thick but silky. This is a perfect product to add to the bath, use post (or pre shower if you have very dry skin on your body) shower/bath or add to pulse points for subtle fragrance during the day.  I also loved using it at night as a cuticle moisturizer and even to remover eye makeup.

I loved reaching for this and immediately having softer, smoother supple skin with that beautiful light rose touch.  With a light touch, this can also be used on very dry hair ends for moisturizing and hair fragrance as well. Tip: If you really want an at home spa treatment, give yourself a full dry brushing, then apply the Rose Body Oil, then shower.  Your skin will be positively glowing when you're done!  Even after using the night before my skin felt and looked hydrated all through the next day.

If you have very dry skin on your face, yes this is also wonderful to use as a fragrance hydrator, especially at night.  It doesn't leave skin extremely greasy or oily looking, but it does add a nice sheen to the skin, which may be better suited for a night time treatment.  Of course, this will also make a terrific aromatherapy oil for massages too.

The oil also combines Jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, rose hip seed oil and, of course rose flower oil.

Note: This does come in a glass bottle, but has a very convenient inner ring around the neck of the bottle which allows it to flow out of the bottle more evenly and prevents spills. - RLB

Beauty Find - Bite Beauty BB For Lips

Bite Beauty has really found a nice niche in the lip cosmetics arena - they continue to come up with creative and functional products just for the lips.

For summer, when I often like all my makeup lighter and sheerer, Bite Beauty BB For Lips is the perfect combination of lip care and lip color.  My favorite shade in the line (shown, above) is Tawny.  This is a great, coral/ pink that's a sheer "your lips but better" shade.

It gave my a nice kiss of color, fantastic soothing softness and moisturizing - and tasted so yummy (vanilla blend)!  This is a constant go-to product for everyday and I love that I get continuous moisture while I'm wearing it.  The texture going on my lips felt like a combination of a lip balm and a creamy, luxurious lipstick.  The finish is a natural shine, but not overly shiny for day time/office, etc.

Because this is not a stain, I did have to reapply after eating/drinking, but this was not an issue for me and to be expected from a sheerer, more hydrating lip product. Actually, if you want all- day color with some of  the hydrating effects, these do work well over a lip stick/lip stain. The case is nice, compact and sleek for practically any sized bag or pocket.

There are also a very pretty, flattering range of shades to choose from - medium pinks/peaches, more muted pinks, a deeper purple and more.  Perfection. You're lips are going to love these! - RLB

Beauty Find - Nyakio Hydrating Eye Cream with Kola Nut

I've raved about some of Nyakio's Kola nut infused skin care recently, and have a great Nyakio eye cream for those who still need an effective eye cream - even in warmer temps.

Nyakio Hydrating Eye Cream with Kola Nut is silky and creamy to the touch, and very concentrated.  Just about a pea-sized amount was all I needed for quick, fast absorbing moisture that immediately soothed my entire eye area.

This is an ideal formula for those who need eye cream in warmer temperatures, or have skin on the more oily side.  After absorbing, my skin was completely matte with no trace or oil.

This cream, because it absorbs so quickly and completely was also perfect to use under any makeup/concealer. My entire eye area was soft, smooth and toned. I also appreciated that it didn't make other cosmetic products pill, slide off or flake.  I never felt like the cream was clogging my pores and I didn't experience any skin irritation.

If you need moisture, toning and some AM depuffing (I liked storing it in the refrigerator for added cooling benefit) - with no residual oil, this is a fantastic choice made with natural ingredients like African kola nut, Chamomile Oil and the ultra moisturizing Marula Oil.  Worth every penny! - RLB

Beauty Find - Clarins Sunscreen Care OIl Spray SPF 30

Last week I highlighted some sun care products I really love, for both body and face.  Today, I want to share with you the new Clarins Sun Care Oil Spray Spf 30.

What makes this sun protection product different is it has the added benefit of being a 2-in-1 product, protecting skin and hair.  That means there's fewer products to pack in your beach/travel bag, and you get the benefits of sun protection everywhere.

Although this is an oil formula, I was very impressed by how lightweight it felt.  Once I sprayed Clarins Sun Care Oil Spray on, I got an instant glow, but it absorbed just as quickly so that it was dry to the touch.  This is perfect to add to dry or slightly damp hair as a protecting pre-treatment before prolonged sun exposure outdoors, or swimming in the ocean or pool.  Clarins Sun Care Oil Spray doesn't leave hair gummy, sticky or greasy either (just a few pumps is all you need though!).

It left my hair smooth and soft and it also helped tame the frizzes when it was humid.  It has a very subtle orange/citrus scent that's clean and fresh and very much unlike the typical "sunscreen" scent.

This multi-purpose product is a joy to use.  It's sure to become one of Clarins' must- have products for all beauty lovers come summertime. - RLB
