Drugstore Buy of the Week - Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo

Hair on the oily side and in desperate need of a wash? Or do you often just need a hair "refresh" after a intense gym workout or long night out?

Now with Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo you can have the best of both worlds - a great, non-residue leaving dry shampoo that actually smells fantastic.

As a a matter of fact, this has one of the best dry shampoo scents I've smelled.  It's minty fresh of course from it's mint oil infusion, but there's a touch of floral that also balances it out and makes it very feminine.  The fragrance is on the stronger side (since it's meant as a refresher) and I would say that it lingers more prominently for the first 30 min or so, and then much softer throughout the day.

It didn't make my hair look dull after brushing it though and it didn't leave any white residue (yay!), build up or feel sticky in my hair.  This can even be used daily for a hair fragrance if you like.  Most importantly for those of you with truly oily hair, when used as directed - spraying the roots of the hair and then brushing out, Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo actually make hair feel and look clean.

Here are a few great ways to use this shampoo even if you don't have oily hair:  Apply directly to your favorite brush/wide tooth comb and then run through the length of the hair.  You'll get the refreshing smell, some lift if you're a bit flat, but it won't dry out relaxed, wavy and loose-to-medium curly hair.  Also, if you need only a day before you wash your hair, you could apply just at the roots, finger massage or use a wide tooth comb, and you'll wake up with fresh smelling hair until you can shampoo.

All in all this is a little fragrant hair miracle for a fantastic price! - RLB
