Drugstore Buy of the Week - L'Oreal Paris EverSleek Precious Oil Treatment with Argan Oil

Hair oils have exploded on the market over the last few years, and there are a few I really like.

However, I've found it's a really tricky balance to create one that moisturizes, protects hair, and provides shine and does NOT leave a heavy film or weigh it down/making it look/feel greasy.

Having had success with other Argan Oil - based beauty products, but never trying one for hair, I was very intrigued when I stumbled upon the new L'Oreal Paris EverSleek Precious Oil Treatment with Argan Oil,

This Oil is a winner - and one that will truly work with all types of hair.  Yes that means those of you with curly/kinky/coiled hair - as well as those with naturally straight, and thick or fine hair.

The beauty of this oil is that there are so many different ways to use it, depending on your hair type and what you are doing with your hair.  It's very versatile.  I used it after washing/conditioning by combing though my relaxed hair with a wide tooth comb, concentrating especially the ends before either air drying or blow drying.

I was very impressed with how soft and smooth my hair felt, the amazing scent (softly sweet/spicy, and does linger on the hair for a few minutes, which I liked).  The oil absorbed immediately into my hair - never just "sitting" on my hair, but still leaving it non-greasy with movement.  It also gave me incredible, lightweight shine, so I liked using a bit on a daily basis just for extra conditioning/frizz control.

The  Argan Oil is also wonderful for moisture.  It added a lot of hydration to my hair, whether it was damp or dry.  It's silky smooth, but also quite concentrated, so about 2-4 pumps is about all you'll need (depending on the length and thickness of your hair).

Other ways this oil can be used: On curly/kinky hair apply a few pumps after your leave in conditioner,  Then you can either allow hair to air dry, use a diffuser or even make twists/braids.  This oil helps tremendously with frizzies, so it's great to use a bit on any trouble areas daily, especially in humid weather.

For straight/naturally wavy hair that's color treated or dry, this can be used throughout the hair after washing for glossing/conditioning treatment and then rinsing out.  You can also try brushing a pump of oil through hair after blow drying for shine and frizz control. Note:You can start with just the ends if your hair is on the more oily side and use more if you desire.

This is another one of those little hair taskmasters that is truly made for everyone.  Stock up on this! - RLB
