Beauty Find - Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick

With a case that actually LOOKS like the famous Elizabeth Arden Spa Red Doors (clever!), this is a lipstick that you will not only love to look at and carry - but will treasure for it's moisture!
The lipstick formula is truly genius- upon applying it, there was a creaminess that was very unique.  It was almost "dry" in that the cream felt to the touch like it had no oil or other liquids in it.
However, with just one swipe, my lips were immediately baby soft, plumped smooth and hydrated instantly.
There is also a large amount of pigment in all of the shades, so with just 1 layer I was able to get the color in the tube.  The finish was also quite unique.  It was slightly dewy - but with no shine.

It's perfect for an every day look, but with the color selection in this line, it's still very easy to get a more chic, polished or dramatic look just by choosing a different color like Marigold, (pictured at the top). They contain no shimmer or glitter.
My favorite everyday shades were: Cocoa Bronze (pictured, second from the top), which was my perfect "nude" color  and Mango Cream, which is the perfect soft coral with a touch of brown (pictured at the bottom).
The next pleasant surprise was just how long-lasting these lipsticks were.  On average, after an early morning application, even after eating and a few drinks during the day, I still retained more than 70% of the color.  My lips remained soft and comfortable all day long (even in cold temperatures, dry office air or while flying in equally dry conditions).
As you can see, these lipsticks have a beautiful, chic and quite luxe Gold/Silver cap design (slightly weighty but not too heavy for a clutch or daily bag), and the flat top even allows you to use it as a mirror to check your lips.
This is the type of lipstick you will definitely go back and get another shade...and then another and another. - RLB
