Beauty for a Cause - Elizabeth Olsen for Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado (Limited Edition)

Here's one of those rare products that is actually not only amazing - but can also, in this instance do good for the environment.

This limited edition container of the Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is part of Kiehl's program to feature artwork by socially conscious friends of Kiehl's, like Elizabeth Olsen (there is also a second design by Maggie Q).

All net profits from the sale of Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado, up to $50,000, will benefit Recycle Across America. To date, Kiehl's has raised $250,000 for Recycle Across America, supplying recycling labels to over 3,800 schools throughout the country.

This eye cream is one that I've actually been meaning to try forever, and thanks to our friends at Kiehl's I got to see why so many other beauty lovers rave about it.

You can find the standard version here: Kiehl's Since 1851 Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is so thick and creamy that it took less that a small pea sized amount, to soothe and moisturize my under eye area immediately (which makes this a great value) .  The cream's consistency is just about as perfect as you can get. That's because it's thick, but still feels lightweight on the skin, with no greasy or oily residue. It also works very well under concealer and it didn't irritate or migrate my eyes or the delicate under eye skin.

This gave me perfect hydration all day - even on very cold, dry days when I was out for long periods of time.  I also loved using this at night using a short tapping/massaging action to relax and prep my skin before bedtime.

If you have dry/very dry skin around your eyes, fine lines, or are dealing with cold/dry temps (including during long flights), and want your eye area to look it's best, this is one of the best treatments out there! - RLB
