Leonor Greyl Paris Baume Bois de Rose Modelling and Sculpting Balm Matte Finish is for any woman (or man) who wants a product that not only provides hold, but has an amazing scent as well.
The texture of this balm is thick and wax like, but very concentrated. It has a bit of a sticky feel coming out of the jar, but once I warmed it in my hands, it became much more fluid and thinner. The first thing I noticed when I opened the Baume Bois de Rose Modelling and Sculpting Balm was the scent.
All of Leonor Greyl products have stand out, luxe scents, but this is probably one of their richest and most indulgent. It is made with several plant and fruit waxes, so the scent is equal parts floral with a prominent rose note, and also slightly woody (yes this would also make an amazing perfume).
So who is this for? This is perfect for a man who loves a slicked back look, or a woman who wants control for a sleek ponytail or chignon - without lots of shine. It's also great for those of you who have shorter, choppy or layered looks and need something for "flexible hold". It works well on both dry or wet hair depending on the look you're trying to achieve. It's not specifically for dry hair, but the balm itself is hydrating and doesn't have a lot of drying ingredients. It applies clear to the hair and doesn't cause any flaking.
Elevate your everyday "hair gel/balm" with this product - you probably won't turn back to what you were using before. - RLB
