Drugstore Buy of the Week - Burt's Bees Lipstick

If you've been using Burt's Bees Lip Balm, Pomegranate Oil, and Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm over the years, you'll be very excited with this week's pick.  They've taken all the natural and moisturizing ingredients in their other lip products and transformed them into their very first Burt's Bees Lipstick.

Burt's Bees Lipstick is great when you want something more than a tinted balm, but with a slightly sheer, natural finish, and some buildability.

Burt's Bees Lipstick contains Beeswax, Moringa Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil, and Vitamin E and the case is made from 100% Recycled materials.
My favorite go-to, everyday shade was Blush Basin, which is a pretty, slightly brown pink. It had a smooth, balm-like feel and was lightweight.  My lips felt hydrated, and the color payoff with about two layers was close to the tube.  There's a very slight, herbal/floral scent that's nice and not off putting.

These are not "long wearing" lipsticks however.  I usually had to touch up about 2 times throughout the day after eating or extended drinking, but I didn't mind.

I love the honeycomb packaging (get it Bees - Honeycomb?) and love that there are 14 shades in all, with lots of bright pinks, reds, corals and plums/berries.  Some of the other stand out shades I loved are: Magenta RushJuniper Water,, and Scarlet Soaked, a really pretty classic red. - RLB

Purchase Here: Burt's Bees Lipstick, Blush Basin, .12 oz and most drugstores nationwide.
