Nail Polish Find - Formula X #ColorCurators Cupcakes and Cashmere Edition

I take pleasure in reading just few other beauty/lifestyle blogs in the morning before I start my days of beauty testing, writing and posting all things beauty on our own social media.

Cupcakes and Cashmere, by Emily Schuman is one of them. I've been a big fan over the years, even picking up her two books, Cupcakes and Cashmere at Home and Cupcakes and Cashmere: A Guide for Defining Your Style, along the way.  I was excited when I recently head that she had teamed up with Formula X Nail Polish to create a trio of shades she felt every girl should own as part of an ongoing #ColorCurators collaboration.

And she hit the "nail" right on the head with the collection. (Smile)

The three limited edition shades include a gorgeous bright red-orange, Haute Sauce, a very pretty peach/coral called Peach Tea and a pastel nude that works very well with all skin tones, Latte Run.

I tried Haute Sauce as soon as I opened the package - and it's a stunner. It brightened up my fingers and looked great with my skin tone. I wore this on my fingers and toes and this will make a great summer pedicure color.

The Formula X polish texture is very easy to apply, with a slightly thin-medium texture.  With 2-3 coats I got the exact shade on the bottle.  I loved the longer brush which made it very easy to apply on the nail beds (This helps too!)

Peach Tea is a very pretty pastel peach shade that's perfect when you want something light and feminine, but not the standard pink.

Latte Run is a lovely neutral that also works well on various skin tones and is perfect for a base for nail art or just a more subdued nail look.

The polishes dry very quickly and have incredible shine, even before adding a top coat (here's one of my favorites)

Don't wait to order these! With the cute, feminine packaging, they're also perfect for a nice beauty gift. They'll be gone before you know it. - RLB
