Removing makeup and/or applying toners is something that most of us do everyday. You probably use some version of a cotton ball, tissue or cotton disk to do it.
But did you know that not all cotton is the same?
I had the opportunity to try the new Kleenex Cotton Soft Pads and now I'm obsessed! Kleenex, the Kimberly Clark-owned facial tissue brand, is quietly entering the skin-care category. The brand has developed 5 new products focused on facial cleansing,
With Kleenex Cotton Soft Pads, the company has taken a product that many of use don't think twice about and made it a LOT better.
First, Kleenex Cotton Soft Pads have a texture which is soft, silky and plush. They can be used for a lot more than removing makeup too. While each pad is razor thin, they are extremely strong, so they never tore apart of left cotton residue on skin. Because of the strength and texture, I discovered they can be sued for actually washing your face with water and cleanser.
Of course, these are also perfect for removing nail polish (1 pad can usually take care of both pads completely) and I loved applying my Micellar Cleansing Water with them for makeup removal. They can also be used to apply facial oil for cleansing and makeup removal. Other uses: applying toners, light peels, removing masks, applying ingrown hair eliminating products.
Kleenex Cotton Soft Pads never fall apart, break or leave cotton fibers on the skin or in the eyes. They are actually stronger and softer than a tissue, so they make the perfect all around beauty tool year round.
The packaging itself is also very innovative, the top opening of the box allows you do remove 1 pad at a time without disturbing the stack. For travel, I simply transferred to a zip lock bag. If you don't need a full pad, you can certainly cut them in half and get more uses out of the pack.
