The 12 shades included in the palette are a mix of matte, satin and shimmer and they all look natural, chic and blend incredibly well.
There are so many usable shades, I reached for this palette on a regular basis. My favorite shimmer shade was Castille (2nd row, third from left) which is an amber brown that works with any other color in the palette, as well as on its own.
I've come to expect intense levels of pigment in my NARS eyeshadows and the Loaded palette did not dissapoint. I only needed to tap my shadow brush on the pan lightly once for full, saturated color. I could use them on the lids as well as for liners and for smoky eye looks. Montaillou (bottom row, 3rd from left), a rich, dark brown, is beautiful for a smoky eye).
The NARS NARSissist Loaded Eyeshadow Palette shimmery shades are perfect for night time looks, of course, but they are not over the top sparkly, so they also be used with a light touch during the day to amp up your eye look.
I got good results with application and wear without primer, but with primer these shadows lasted over 10+ hours with no creasing or fading at all.
The packaging is luxurious and glam (plus there's a mirror inside the top lid). Some of the standout hades are: Versailles, a bronze shimmer, Splendor, a golden taupe with a sheen finish, Beaumaris, a medium-dark brown with a frosted sheen and for a black with a twist, Reale is great. It's a black with a brown base and satin finish. This was perfect for lining the eyes and also for smoky eyes.
NARS Loaded Eyeshadow Palette is one of those rare palettes where I love and use all the shades. This is a limited edition, so don't wait to pick this up! - RLB
