Fragrance Find - CHANEL Gabrielle Chanel Eau de Parfum

One of CHANEL's newest scents is an ode to the founder, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel.  Created by Olivier Polge, GABRIELLE CHANEL was inspired by the idea of an imaginary flower.  The scent is based on a four white flower note structure.  Exotic Jasmine, fruity green ylang-ylang, fresh sparkling orange blossom and grasse tuberose.  The four flowers are represented by the four corners in the raised glass bottle design.

Like many CHANEL scents,GABRIELLE CHANEL has complexity and longevity, but it stays close to the skin with a very small "fragrance arc".  That means you'll never announce your arrival in a room with the scent.  I loved the opening notes, which were bright and yet rich at the same time.  On my skin the orange blossom was very prominent, with it being balanced by the slightly sweet ylang-ylang.

With a morning application,GABRIELLE CHANEL lasted on me about 8-10 hours, and developed into a richer floral that dried down with a crisp, warm feel.  I think this is perfect for Fall and Winter in particular, and it is as versatile for day and it is for night.

CHANEL GABRIELLE is quite concentrated, (I only used 2-4 spritzes each time), so rest assured if you're treating yourself to this scent, the price tag gives you many months of wear, even with frequent use.

I especially love using an extra spritz for the hair or clothing since it lingers like a light veil the entire day.  To keep CHANEL GABRIELLE with you while you travel, there's a 1.7 ounce version as well.

CHANEL GABRIELLE also makes a beautiful beauty gift for that fragrance lover in your life. The CHANEL GABRIELLE bottle design is stunning and perfect to adorn any dresser.  The label and the stopper have a lamé color, along with and a blend of gold and silver. The fragrance liquid itself is a gorgeous gold color. Stunning! - RLB
