"If you’ve read my review for the Nuxuriance Radiance Day Cream (below) then you know that the packaging for the French Nuxuriance line is something I could never resist. However, it goes way beyond the bottle in this case. Used in conjunction with the Nuxe Radiance Day Crème my skin has truly never looked, felt or (smelled) better! Just a few pumps in the AM and PM which absorbed quickly and left no residue or film, was all I needed. Within just a few days I started catching my reflection in mirrors during the day and noticing how glowy and fresh my skin looked! Luxurious looking packaging? – you bet! I love the green and gold, but it really performs which is what will keep it on my countertop for years to come!" L.N.

“As a complete lover of almost all things French involving skincare and cosmetics, I had to try this as soon as it showed up on my desk. It is a beautiful, medium weight velvety cream which is very concentrated. The results are BEAUTIFUL and were almost instant! From my first few days of using, my skin has never looked clearer or felt smoother. The fragrance is simply heavenly and completely unique…combination of a fresh green and a little spicy note which lingers nicely and unobtrusively during the day. My skin tone has evened out and I experienced no break outs. Just clear, glowy, pretty skin! I love the ultra glamorous green and gold glass jar which easily distinguishes it from the other multiple Nuxe skin care lines as well. One suggestion would be to increase the amount of SPF to at least 15, but otherwise it’s not a problem for me.” L.N.

Nuxe Creme Suractivee, Dry and Very Dry Skin
Tester: West Indian (Jamaican) early 20's with very dry skin and occasional breakouts in the t zone.
“I’m very happy with this cream. I used it morning and night this winter and it has kept my skin soft and radiant looking. My skin hasn’t been dry this winter since using it and I can definitely notice an improvement in my overall complexion. The texture and scent (very green – like pine trees) are very pleasant and the presentation elegant yet practical. It is pleasant to use and delivers good results for the price. With this cream, my skin felt instantly comforted and refreshed. It's more like smooth custard when scooped out of the jar, but once it hits my skin, it sinks in as quickly as a lotion would. My skin feels slightly tingly afterwards and almost matte. looking matte after applying moisturizer! The product is packaged in a large jar and comes with a small spatula (so you don't have to plunge your fingers into the pot) -- I used one good sized scoop per application. Great for "tight" winter skin. Also love the little scoop so you don't have to plunge your fingers into the pot. My skin has never looked better or felt softer!!! Love Love Love this!!!" H.B.

Tester: Multi-ethnic (Cuban and German), mid-thirties, with combination skin that is occasionally sensitive.
“This is the most luxurious treat for your skin while on a summer sun holiday! Its a medium-textured cream in a hand squeeze tube. I needed such a small amount to provide coverage for my face (even after reapplying after getting wet). What I also loved about this sun cream is that it made my skin so gorgeously smooth and really hydrated, especially when I burned a little - it really relieved the pain. A must have for the summer! Best of all, it didn’t cause any break outs or irritation and the amazing floral essences that are present in many of the Decleor products don’t disappoint here either. It’s so nice to have this fragrance linger while relaxing in the sun! This is a must for summer!” - T.H.

“This is a very good moisturizer for the summer months. I have quite unpredictable skin. It is usually dry, with patches around the mouth, cheeks area and an oilier t-zone with an abundance of bumps (comedones) and the occasional spot. I used this moisturizer everyday, applying it every morning and night after cleansing. I have to say I don’t remember when I last had such glowing skin. My skin has cleared up a lot since using this religiously and I’ve noticed that I have not had an outbreak since. It really controls oil without blocking my pores. I would recommend this for those of you with combination skin seeking a lighter moisturizer as the temps go up.” L.H.

Tester: Hispanic (Costa Rican), late 30’s, with combination skin that tends to get oilier in the summer months. She has some discoloration from previous break outs.
“I’ve seen the ads for this skin care line all over the place, and was really glad to have the chance to try it. I used it AM and PM on my whole face, after cleansing. It leaves a semi-matte finish and after several weeks, I saw glowing, clearer, brighter, and firmer skin. This product absorbed quickly and left my skin feeling supple and continuously moisturized. Another plus – it’s great under foundation! It worked great in hot weather (not too heavy). I also found a little goes a long way so the 1.4 once tube should last a good 2-3 months. I saw about a 50% reduction in the little brown spots after about 2 weeks as well as fewer break-outs, and smoother, less irritated skin. Very good product.” E.V.

Olay Pore Refining Mousse Cleanser
Tester: African-American, mid-twenties with combination skin, some uneven pigmentation and occasional breakouts in the t zone.
“I love trying new cleansers, and I love the concept of my cleanser actually doing more than just cleaning my skin! This new Olay cleanser is a great combination of cleansing and treatment. This is a soft light white mousse, but interestingly, the texture is not completely smooth at it may appear at first. Upon actually moving the cleanser in a circular motion along my face as I washed it I felt very fine granules within the mouse that actually exfoliated my skin. My skin felt fresh and clean after each use, and I didn’t have any issues with breaking out. In addition, it's also not drying -- I didn't get that over washed, tight feeling after using it.
It has a nice light texture and I did notice a nice improvement in the overall tone of my skin after regular use 2x day. Since the grains within the mousse are very fine, this is also a good choice for those of you with more sensitive/acne prone skin.” S.D.
Note: Take care when pressing the nozzle to pump out the mousse as just a light press is needed for a good amount to come out.

"I had only begun using this product for a week and my skin was already looking better! The color was more even, it was smooth as silk and the tiny lines around my eyes seemed less noticeable. The first time I used this it took 4 pumps to cover my face because my skin was absorbing the serum like crazy. As the test period went on I found I only needed 1 pump to do the same job. All this from a reasonably priced drug store item! Another plus is the serum also seemed to keep my makeup looking fresher longer. "I haven't used an Olay product in a while and I can't believe how this line has evolved! Although I don't really have wrinkles, I was eager to test this more in the hopes of preventing them. I am really pleased with this product. First, I love the feel of it - it is creamy, but a light creamy. It isn't the kind of creamy that doesn't absorb and makes you look oily in the summer (I live in Miami, so don't get me started on creams and humidity). Second, I noticed that this product would sort of mattifiy my face and left me looking very luminous. After applying at night I noticed that I would wake up with my skin looking bright and fresh. My skin is really dry, so I have often woken up with small dry patches on my cheeks and chin in the past, but not with this product! I also really like the packaging, it's small and attaractive enough to sit side by side with any of your lovely beauty products, and the top-end pump is awesome to keep out bacteria. The final word it that my skin feels like a baby's bottom after I use this (and I know because I've just had one!). "I'm very happy with the results. This not only DIDN'T break out my skin, it made it noticably softer after just a couple of days use. I like it also because it's pretty matte and helps dull the shine I get after I apply my SPF. My lines are much less noticeable, and the texture of my skin is better than ever. After using it for a month the difference is even more pronounced. Also, you only need 2 pumps to cover your face and neck so it lasts a long time for such a small bottle.
