Beauty Find - Avene Gentle Body Scrub

Love exfoliating your body, but have sensitive skin? Avene has just the product for you.

Avene is a wonderful French skin care line that is reasonably priced, and has fantastic products for sensitive, and very dry skin, that perform well, smell wonderful and are now more easily accessible in the U.S. They also make the wonderful Avene Thermal Spring Water facial mist, for which they have become well known (and I swear by it when traveling)!

The Gentle Body scrub (which is also rich in the Avene Thermal Spring Water) is part of a brand new skin care range from Avene. It's very similar to their Avene Gentle Purifying Scrub gentle facial scrub - fine/medium pink grains suspended in a soft, gel formula. I got a wonderful scrub without feeling red, or irritated. It's gentle enough to use several times a weekas well. The scrub also contains moisturizers, so when I rinsed and dried off, my skin was moist, soft, smooth and supple with a lovely glow.

There are also two other new products in the line that are also worth checking out, especially for those of you with dry skin - the Body Oil which is a lightweight gel/oil formula with a fresh, green scent, that I loved. And the Moisturizing Body Lotion (made with the Avene Thermal Spring Water as well), which is also lightweight, but very concetrated, and provides moisture with no heaviness or greasy feel. - RLB
